Yeah do not use the smith machine. It'll teach poor form and you won't work everything that free weights will
-
Yeah you can do them on the same day. Works different muscles for the most part.

I've had this constantly since I started the police academy in January. I have no input other than that it sucks.

I've done something like this before. I use to do push-ups/sit ups every time I ended a period in NHL 12/13.

Skip cardio, do full body heavy compound lifts. Eat enough calories, makes sure you get enough protein

I generally estimate 100 per mile.

Ah I stand corrected.

He says 30 degree sit ups... I assume he means crunches... Which are an amazing ab exercise

Why pay for something you don't use?

I love strong lifts... However... I don't think it's the end all be all of programs. It might be a little too much for your back in regards to squatting three times a week, but that's something you need to figure out. My biggest input would be start light... The bar or lighter if you need to. There is no shame in it. I did…

There's a difference between being sore and being injured. Exercise may help relieve soreness... That being said whenever I worked out after a long break I'm sore for a week before I can really jump into working out regularly

If your pictures are an indicator, it's probably pretty close to on point in regards to your body fat. While you may have been lighter with a higher body fat, lifting has increased your bone density and resulted in some muscle growth. I think you're at too low of a body fat and would probably recommend upping your calories…

Yeah, lengthen this out and it's exactly the type of workouts we did in police academy.

Hit your macros and your calories and you'll be good to go.
