I think she means the bolded part - "staying on track" - you claim you know the calories in everything so you don't have to weigh things and say this is working for you, all while saying it is not working because you have hit a plateau.
-
not sure if you are looking for advice or just friends, but if you are looking to lose weight I'd focus more on your intake than the specific workouts you are doing each day. while workouts can help increase your calorie burn, you can't outwork a bad diet...
-
you must have missed the questions about your food intake - is everything you eat truly single serving with calories listed? no chicken breast? banana? apple? grapes? steak?
-
you realize diet coke is like 98% water right?
-
you're welcome! glad you enjoyed!

did you even read the article you linked to?? "It's not yet clear whether artificial sweeteners actually cause harm, however. Observational studies that link the sweeteners to health problems do not prove the sweeteners themselves are responsible."
-
would love to hear how a zero calorie drink is counter intuitive to losing weight?? :/
-
this. or I actually mix greek yogurt with protein powder, add some chocolate chips, in the freezer for 30 minutes and you have a high protein snack for cheaper that tastes amazing!
-
love coke zero and so pumped now that Canada finally got coke zero vanilla and coke zero cherry!
-
if it were as easy as taking a pill wouldn't everyone just do that? and no one would be fat!
-
your focus seems to be on the activities you are doing and not your food intake. as asked above, how much are you eating the 20% of the time you don't net 1200? also, hard to imagine doing all that activity on 1200 calories per day. and you are certainly not gaining appreciable muscle mass in 5 weeks while doing mostly…

anyone tried the other new cool way flavors - birthday cake? cookie dough? I haven't seen them in stores yet, but apparently they are out there.
-
-
it will be mostly water weight in the first few days - normal and not something to worry about. but, is 1200 calories what MFP gave you or a number you chose?
-
have you ever seen the show 'secret eaters' ? this is exactly what they said. it is really eye opening!
-
-
is it using bioelectrical impedence? if so, not very accurate compared to other methods (bod pod, dexa scan, autopsy).
-
sounds like you aren't actually counting calories or weighing your food - start there to have an accurate picture of what your intake is.
-
how is the goodnorth birthday cake ice cream and cookie dough ice cream ??
-
thanks, but I'm not a sir LOL
-
do what works for you - just keep in mind your body counts it whether you choose to log it or not!
-
it's too bad that it didn't work this way for all the people that are actually starving to death. why didn't their bodies say "no fat loss" and keep cruising along? starvation mode is a myth.
-
need more information - you say you log all your food, but are you weighing everything? you use words like "try" and "usually" - that is probably your problem. you need a sustained calorie deficit to lose weight over time and that is what you are missing.
-
happiest day of my life - vanilla coke zero finally available in Canada!!
-
let me guess, "calorie burning mode" is the opposite of "starvation mode" ??? :*
-
I've heard that before too, but still don't get it. why would something without fat in it be referred to as "full fat" (in Britain or anywhere else??)
-
which stores have you found it in? is the price ridiculous (like fairlife?)
-
to lose weight you need a calorie deficit - not a specific workout - make sure you are in a calorie deficit and do whichever program you enjoy that fits your goals.
-
um, no. she said she is walking/jogging and eating 1200-1300 calories per day - not exactly a recipe for muscle building!!
