personally I can't stand smoking and am quite happy that in Ohio you can no longer smoke in a restaurant or other public places. as far as whether those that do smoke are selfish scum or a persecuted minority... I'm going with neither. What they do is their own choice. Provided it doesn't affect me; it's not my problem.

Actually yes. My Brother in Law knew someone who won cash with it, quite a bit of it too.

This App is fun, but it's expensive at $8 but to me it was worth it to spend. I also recommend you trying out the C25K app. There's a free version that will let you go up to 3 or 4 weeks I think and then you can decide whether you want to fork over the $1.99 I think it was for the rest of it.

Yep! My husband is more Republican than Democrat, and I look at things more Democrat than Republican (although we both consider ourselves Independents). Top that off with, he's a devout Catholic, and a lot of my beliefs pretty much throw theirs out the window. Sadly, we don't have much to talk about and if met today,…

I started at around 220. I never did finish the program because I started jogging with a friend and just went with her from there on out. Just remember, you're out of shape, and you have to build your stamina up. When I first started, I was jogging at 4mph for the most part, and walking at 3.5mph. I was once told, if you…

I've tried ear plugs; maybe I need to find different ones though because they're extremely uncomfortable in my ears and ended up coming out at some point in the night. A poke (or kick) used to cause him to roll over and it would be enough to get back to sleep but that doesn't work anymore :( I have to say I agree with…

Mine used to all the time. He'd get me cupcakes from this gourmet cupcake shop we have downtown where we work. After about a year though of him realizing that I just didn't want to eat that stuff like that anymore, he's pretty much stopped so that's been really nice. Every great once in awhile, if he knows I'm having a…

Awesome job! And yes, sometimes we need that visual that's not mirror related to show us proof that we are in fact, getting somewhere! Keep up the good work!

I have to go with this. What works for you, doesn't necessarily work for the next person. Don't be judgemental on them and how they choose to do their own "lifestyle change / diet". If seeing them do that bothers you so much, then perhaps you should de-friend them.

I'm only on mission 7 and going through with the zombie chases on. Got real lucky on my last mission (6) lol and had to drop something twice to distract the zombies or I'd have been bit, failed whatever happens. I just couldn't move any faster than I already was =(

Last year, I didn't really run over the winter and I paid for it this Spring. This is great advice and I've decided to go ahead and try to run through the winter this time utilizing the advice given above.

So last week was rough for me, but I did good at least half of the week and I know I had my cardio done. Water most of the time, but none of the special exercise. It's been difficult for me to get online via the pc to the boards in the evening and hitting it by my phone is a Pain in my *kitten* (much like the Volturi are…

In the Twilight books, heroine Bella Swan contemplates the mysterious Edward Cullen as she prepares chicken enchiladas for dinner. Shredded, cooked rotisserie chicken speeds up the prep time in this recipe, so Bella can continue to daydream. 2 1/2 pounds tomatillos, husked 1 large jalapeño, halved 1/4 cup extra-virgin…

Week 2 Water 6/7 days Cardio 340/108 Ankle Rolls 7/7 Wrist Rolls 7/7 Food.. eh -- this was not a good food week. I'm 1344 over my net Calories weekly goal. I'm sure the scale will not be friendly to me but I'm of the mindset that I had fun this week with my kids and it was crazy getting them back into the swing of school.…

On a Midnight Sun note... I REALLY wish she'd finish that book.

I would be over the moon if my husband started getting fitter; not that I don't love him but the pregnant belly thing he has going on isn't healthy. So I'd seriously talk to her about it. Maybe it is an insecurity issue. Good luck to you either way :drinker:

Did anyone watch the Daily Show interview? Jon Stewart had me cracking me up big time but I'm shocked to find out that Rob doesn't have a publicist. I bet he'll have one soon... lol the man looks gorgeous as usual.. but tired.

there's some super good songs on there. Going to have to see if that cd is available here in the States and/or just compile the songs individually. I have a good many of them already. I generally play songs that have an upbeat tempo, artists like Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas, etc
