  • I was never a junk food eater to begin with. My guy keeps all kinds of cookies and candy and chips and honey buns in the office and I could just walk in there and get some but I don't. It's always in the house but I just don't have a desire to eat it. I also ask him if I can have a couple small pieces of chocolate if I…
  • Since you have asked him repeatedly that you prefer him not to be there when you work out, and he doesn't listen, I would move on. You are trying to improve yourself and if he can't be supportive of how it works for you, I don't foresee it getting any better. I have to exercise alone as well. I don't need somebody stopping…
  • Yup this works for me. I do watch my counts on things but I don't cut things out.
  • 98% fatfree flour fajita shell, 1\4 cup mozerella cheese, 1 whole scrambled egg with no butter or milk in the microwave, and half a slice of ham. I make a breakfast quesadila with it.
  • I keep in mind that even though it's a holiday, it's still a meal like any other and moderation is the way to go. I pick the best choices and eat those. Also, even if you go over one day, one bad meal doesn't make you fat like one good meal won't make you skinny. It's all about moderation.
  • Leslie Sansone has some walking videos on youtube you could do. Start off with the one mile one. It's only 20 minutes long. Do what you can do of it every day until you can do the whole thing. You have to start somewhere and you don't necessarily have to go to a gym to get a good work out and there are also pilates videos…
  • Walked 2 miles today and at some point going to do step ups.
  • Not all people agree with not eating back your calories and I started off eating them back in the beginning but nothing was happening. I don't eat them back and it works better for me. I am not an overly active person to begin with so eating more doesn't really benefit me much. I exercise and do my normal daily activities…
  • You can't ruin your metabolism, you can ruin your diet though. I have not once cut out anything that I like to eat, I just made some better choices. I still have pizza for instance and instead of all meat, I eat it with mushrooms and black olives instead. I still get pizza but it isn't as bad as before. As long as you stay…
  • Until I found something different I like just as well, I had been eating a fried egg, ham, and cheese on toast every morning and it never affected my diet much at all. I just found a breakfast burrito with eggs that I like just as well that doesn't have the butter in it right now. There is nothing wrong with eggs so eat…
  • The question is how do you feel in it. If you like it and are proud to wear it then whatever anyone else thinks doesn't matter much. You look great by the way.
  • I feel that abstaining, for me anyway, doesn't work. Moderation is the better way to go. That way, you are not depriving yourself of the things you love. When you cut those things out, it makes you resent what you are doing because "you can't have that". It's a higher likelihood of quitting what you are trying to…
  • Comments from people who aren't doing anything at all telling me I am doing all this wrong. Number one, they have no room to talk if they aren't doing anything themselves. Number 2, I do what works for me, not what works for everybody else. Weight loss is a personal thing for each individual person. What works well for one…
  • Can't do anything with the upper body today. My muscles are cramped up on the right side around the scapula area. Maybe just some walking and or some step ups. Might look up some to do for back pain.
  • I know when I get stressed, I have to get my mind on other things. I clean and clean until I feel better. That way I have accomplished something that needed done and I feel better that I made progress in something that day. I also walk now. So far, walking has come to help a lot. It gets me out and active. I also find that…
  • Are you taking prenatal vitamins. Just adding that will help. They are inexpensive and taking one a day along with the foods listed above should more than cover your intake.
  • I don't see being fat as a disability. The conditions that result from being fat is what I call a disability but more often than not, losing weight will cause many of those conditions to lessen or even go away. High blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, and some pains in hips and ankles, ect. I think it gets used a lot…
  • I was just having this same problem this week so I understand how frustrating and irritating it is when it jumps up and down on the same pound or two. Try changing up your exercise routine a bit. That worked for me. You can also take a day or two off of exercising and then pick it back up. Sometimes you have to trick your…
  • I am sure I am guilty of body shaming another person at some point but it is myself that I do it to the most. People such as this person in this article, are not mature enough to speak other than the way they did. They are insecure and lack any confidence in themselves so putting down others is what they do to cope or they…
  • I am 5'3 and I have gone down 8 lbs in about 3 and a half weeks. I am 45.
  • Just remember that doing the wrong thing on the weekends is what causes you to feel the way you do now. Don't give up the things you like, Just watch your portions and keep your self control in check then by Monday you will feel really proud of what you accomplished over the weekend by sticking to your guns.
  • Potatoes. I love them. Fried or with chili and cheese and I need to shut up cuz I am hungry and that sounds awesome.
  • Add me if you like.
  • I weigh every morning. This way I can see what needs changing. What I did to make it go up or down and if it went up, I check to see what I did the day before and try to work on that. If it goes down I check the day before and try to repeat it as closely as possible.
  • I don't really watch my carb goals. I am always under it. My problem is more in the fats and sodium but the sodium is not a problem that happens much.
  • I don't even pay any attention to normal daily activity calories burned. To me they don't count because they are normal daily calories burned. I only count what I put in and what I exercise off. I also don't eat back my calories I burned during exercises. That just doesn't work for me.
  • Yes I do feel guilty, like I am being lazy or not even trying. I do make myself take Sunday off though and spend the day catching up on cleaning and laundry. I am afraid if I skip it, I won't want to do it again the next day and will fall back into my old ways.
  • Lobster, crab legs, whatever other seafood I can try and fruit of every kind and all the salad I want with giant margaritas. My guy is a meat and potatoes so this would be heaven for me.
  • I know that no matter how thin I am I will always have thick thighs and wide butt. It runs in my family and not much I can do about that. That could be the way it is for you. Learn to accept them and love them.
  • Try Crunch Pick your spot pilates. Simple movements that you actually feel the next day and thighs only takes about 10 minutes to do. You can get it off youtube.
