No, I don't brush my teeth to stop myself from eating but I do sometimes do it at night to stop myself having another sneaky glass of Pepsi Max. Brushing my teeth always puts me off drinking any fizzy drinks. (I don't eat back my exercise calories either and I've lost 31lbs so far...)

I like my sense of humour and that I can make other people laugh. I dislike my short temper.

Hi both! Me too. I'm getting married a year tomorrow!! :blushing: I've lost 27lbs so far, a pound away from my halfway mark. Got 29lbs left to go.

It's a good feeling when you notice the change in your clothes and yours is a great transformation. Congrats

My partner. I've just finished 30DS and on the few days that I struggled to find motivation, he would get his gym clothes on and do it with me. It really helped

I tend to keep it really simple and say 'by eating less and moving more'. If/when they say 'that's it?!', I say 'yeah..it's really that simpe for me'.

No. I think it's all down to personal preference and what you find attractive. Race/nationality sometimes doesn't play a part at all. It depends on the individual.

At 47kg you're already underweight as it is. See your doctor about managing your IBS symptoms and eat more. 1000kcal is not nearly enough for any adult, short or not. Your profile says you hope to be 40kg or less which is seriously underweight.

I was having a chat with my partner about this the other day. I think sometimes people are unaware that their comments are perceived as negative and perhaps think that they're being supportive or encouraging. I've found that as soon as people know that you're on a diet, they feel they can pass comment on everything you…

My last day of 30DS is tonight () and I already have my Ripped in 30 DVD ready for starting next week. I chose it because I like the 3-2-1 interval system of 30DS and the idea of progressing through levels which RI30 also has.

Don't worry, everyone has days where they feel like this. I try to make sure I have 3 healthy snacks a day so I'm never too far away from eating again

ALL of my favourite junk food but especially takeaway pizza's and crisps

Hi, I'm 5ft 4 and 143lbs. I'm far from being happy or confident about my body yet but I'm much happier than I was (I started at 168). Everyone carries weight differently so although I am not happy at this weight, you may look great around 145. I tend to carry weight around the middle and that doesn't tend to go until I'm…

Congrats  I'm almost there, on day 27 today

YES :flowerforyou: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I had two slices of yummy wedding cake at the weekend at my sister-in-law's wedding. I didn't gain and it was lovely

30lbs is a fantastic loss. It's always a lot harder to notice the change when it's ourselves because we see our bodies daily! Take comfort that others are noticing and commenting. Your clothes must feel a little looser/more comfortable? (I have the same problem and struggle to see any change in my body as yet but…

If you're exercising 6 times a week and you only have a small amount to lose, then I think you'd lose on 1500-1600 calories a day. We're a similar height and I had a more drastic version of your story. I lost 3 stone in 2009 and gained it all back, plus another lovely stone!! :noway: I'm back on it now though and almost…

I would definitely forget the 900-100 calorie a day diet. On Monday this week you only had 300 calories, is that correct? :noway: I don't know your figures but I would up your calorie intake to around 1400-1600 calories a day, with lots of fruits and veegtables. Exercise approximately 4 times a week, with a mixture of…

I'm 5ft 4lbs and 10st 3lbs (143lbs) and I am a UK dress size 10-12. It depends on the clothing and the store.

I'm on day 25 of 30DS and my biggest problem area was always my tummy. 30DS has made a huge difference so far to me (lost 7lbs so far and dropped a UK dress size). My tummy is almost looking toned and my fitness levels have improved greatly. I'll be doing Ripped in 30 next and 6 week abs when I've lost a little more…

I started with eating 1200 calories and I did lose weight in the beginning. But then my weight loss came to a standstill so I upped my calories to 14500-1600 and I'm losing on a weekly basis now. I think it depends on the individual though and how much weight you have to lose.

Lost 6lbs this month! (I lost nothing in April so I'm over the moon!) SW: 150 CW: 144 Lost through eating 1400-1600 calories a day and exercising with 30DS 3-4 times a week.

I've lost 24lbs this year (so far!) and 18lbs of that was without exercise. However, my weight loss came to a complete standstill last month so I started exercising 4-5 times a week and managed to lose 6lbs this month. Weight loss is definitely possible without exercise but I personally think weight loss would occur more…

We are similar (ish) figures and I had the same problem last month. I was eating 1200 calories and exercising 5 times a week and I lost nothing at all. I was told by numerous people to up my calories and that's exactly what I did. This month I have been eating 1400-1500 calories and exercising 4 times a week and I've lost…

Hello. I was having a similar problem last week and everyone advised me to up my calories (I was eating 1200 calories). I amended that to 1400 calories and dropped 2lbs in the same week, I was estatic. We are a similar weight too. You are doing a lot of exercise but your calorie intake is very low. Maybe try the same and…

No, that can be completely normal. The average heartbeat can range from 40 - 100 bpm. It's usually lower in people who are physically fitter too, so it's probably a good sign.

I shower once a day. I really don't understand how people have the time (or effort) to shower 2/3 times a day. I guess it makes sense to have another shower if you've had a workout but 3 times seems a bit excessive.
