Yes I've read certain machines like the thigh ones don't work and can cause you to hurt yourself too. I also know since I started using one I see a difference . Just be sensible when starting on the machines. Start off with a lower weight then add slowly to the weights and reps. Start with the trainers advice. I haven't…

Rock on SuperMom! Seriously Wow! I thought I was doing good when my daughter ( 40 lbs. ) fell asleep down hill from our house at the neighbors. I had to carry her up hill then up front steps and upstairs to her bed ( another 13 steps ). Way to go!

Coming from someone who once weighed 262 lbs. and been married for 20 yrs. I'm thankful my husband always found me attractive. Even when I didn't feel sexy or attractive. Thanks for your post. Makes me appreciate him even more.

That's great! LOL.

While I haven't had as much to lose. I know I had to up my calories recently. MFP had dropped me down to 1420 but my BMR was 1570. So I tweaked my setting from sedentary no exercise to 30 minutes x 5 days a week. Put my calories back up to 1640. I'm still losing at 1640. You may want to check your BMR or eat those exercise…

Hello Cool Kids! I hope it's okay to join. My names Kate and I'm 41. I've been married 20 yrs. (long yrs. LOL) We have a 16 yr. old son, and a 3 yr. old daughter. Thank you PCOS. I firmly believe boys are easier. My daughter drives me crazy. When will these terrible two's finally end? I'm a stay at home Mom by protest.…

I'm probably will not be financially able to ever have a tummy tuck. Though I still have some to lose and things are improving. Just thought I mention another girl posted pictures of her tummy tuck and lose skin removal about a week ago. You can probably search under successes and see her pictures and story. She seems very…

Mine is open. Haven't had any bad comments yet. I also look at friend's diaries if they are open. If they eat under a 1000 I might ask if they were ill or what not? I'm not mean about it. Also I like seeing different options. I don't eat the same things all the time. I've even upped my calories within my weight loss when…

I was diagnosed with PCOS/pre-diabetic in 2009. Prior to that I was always irregular unless on birth control pills. Went 2 yrs. without a cycle. Put on Metformin in 2009 I lost 67 lbs. in 9 months and became pregnant for the 2nd time at 39. I have never had any side effects from my metformin. I turn 42 next month with a 16…

I'm not sure you need to lose 20 more lbs. Your currently 1 lb. under my goal at 5'8". Depends on your build too. I know at 130 lbs. my senior year ( after a tonsillectomy ) I looked ill. I was wearing size 7/8 which were lose in the waist but used to rub bruises on my hip bones. I've always had wide shoulders too. Though…

You've dated 6 yrs. and he hasn't popped the question yet? Maybe you should ask him. If he is extremely insecure...run. LOL

1# I actually tried this thing at the gym called an Atlantis Knee Raises ( you hold bodyweight up while doing knee raises). I was sure I wouldn't be able to do them and ended up doing 3 sets of 10. You really feel them later in your abs. LOL 2# I did manage to start across some monkey bars at the park though still didn't…
