I'm surprised how often I go over my sodium. Since I'm not one to salt my food with two exceptions : homegrown tomatoes and when I make gravy ( which I haven't made since starting MFP) . Husband brought sausage for me to make gravy this weekend. :( I haven't had sausage either.

I make whole wheat pita pizzas. I usually make mine veggie, and the rest of the family's I add pepperoni. I treated myself to a taco salad after losing around 15 lbs. Yum. May have to go back again soon. Recently saw a tip about splitting orders with someone else adding veggies on the side. Mainly enjoy.

I would eat at least your BMR. I know MFP reduced my intake to 1420 a couple weeks ago and I got moody with less energy. Looked up my BMR said 1570. So I just left my settings at sedentary but said I'd exercise at least 30 minutes 5x a week. Now I'm back to 1620's. Good luck.

If your comfortable with your intake I wouldn't stress it. 1960 seems very reasonable. I know MFP dropped my calories to 1420 and my energy started lagging. Checked my BMR said 1570 range. My new favorite is a walmart jerk seasoning marinade. I also make a healthy version of marsala chicken even my 16 yr. old son likes. MccCormick? has some pretty good seasonings I sprinkle on and bake. I like the "Kicken chicken" and "Smokehouse maple".

MFP changed my settings a week ago. I just had to re-adjust my settings because I had no energy at the 1420 was below my BMR. Lost 2 lbs. this morning. I wouldn't adjust unless you change your settings. 1420 was sedentary no exercise. Now I'm sedentary with 5 days 30 minutes of exercise 1640.

That's great! I know I actually played with my 3 yr. old on the playground in the last couple months. When my son was that age there was no way. He's 16 now. Sad I couldn't do more with him when he was younger. Though glad they are going to have a healthier Mom. :) I bet your son loved it!

This morning had a 2 lb. loss after changing my settings to up my calorie intake ( they were too low at 1420). I'm officially half way to my goal now. Only 28 lbs. to a healthy BMI. Also managed to fit in my favorite too small shirt I had saved.

He needs to eat higher calories than that. I know I recently checked my BMR because I had lost a lot of my energy after MFP dropped my calories to 1420. I adjusted my settings now I'm back up to 1620. I'm a 5'7" woman. If he eats to little he's going to lose muscle.

He does have pretty eyes. My 16 yr. old son wouldn't admit to having seen "High School Musical" though. LOL
