Hahaha, I recently just got bashed by my friends for having bigger arms- in a muscular way. I am from a society where petite, scrawny, skinny-to-the-bone girls are considered pretty, so everyone around me was shocked to see my arms get more musclular and bulky. Sure, I've gain a little fat from bulking as well, but wait…

Here's what I noticed yesterday... my chest or upper body was bigger, BUT my waist went down...according to my feelings after wearing a skirt and shirt that I haven't worn for a year. But yes, it is true that anyone can get bigger from weight training and eating at surplus. But if you do it right, you will have broader…

hahaha, I won't judge :P no worries; I'm just curious because when I tightened up it looked very nice and when I didn't, it just looked a little normal. So I don't know if people in photos do the same or not :D

Being able to eat more, seeing REALISTIC body images (sometimes i get discouraged with seeing way too nice pictures of models), MUSIC, and seeing a picture of me of what I want in the future. Everyday I think that I will be a day closer to that day.

^ this. Water retention + stress. Make sure you sleep a lot and drink lots of water and protein. You might gain skme muscle, just be aware of that too as muscle weighs more than fat. Dont focus only the scale but focus on measurements too. Goodluck!

I'm 5'3.7 or 163 cm, and I'm around 101 pounds... I'm UNDERWEIGHT and I still think I'm fat because of the love handles and bat-wings. Gotta lift. And remember, our ownself can do the negative talk more than others, so maybe you are thinking way tooo mucha nd being too harsh on yourself. I'm trying to gain weight as well…

I already thought eating at 1200 is ridiculously unhealthy and low...to be honest. but hey, it's okay. We are here to support you. What I suggest is that, you SLOWLY up your calories... because currently your body is adapted to 800-1000 calories intake, and if you ate jump fast at 1500 or so it might be bad. So, just…

Ah I see.. yeah, I heard that your body won't absorb anymore protein if it exceeds.. but as long as I kept under my calorie goal or at maintaince, it's okay right? I guess I'm addicted to meats and protein wheys... HAHAHA. And yeah, synthetic and chemicals are NEVER good to our body... although I always use artificial…

I'm not an expert in these topics, but as far as I've talked to bodybuilders who are my friends, and done hours of researched online (yes, I'm that free), it is better to do weight lifting first before any cardio or HIIT, aside from warm up. The reason is because weight lifting requires tremendous amount of energy and…

Stage One, Day 3

Oh i see; just to make sure please allow me to recap what I understand. So do it on the same day as lifting, and on rest days just fully rest right? And i never heard of tabata- like Hiit. From what i researched , is it something like "Many exercises and types of equipment can be incorporated into the Tabata protocol. You…

Need new friends too! anyone can add me as their friends :P I'm currently trying to gain some weights with muscles but struggling mentally with the idea of bulking. lols.

Hahaha yup, I am surrounded by friends and my parents (big influence here) who think "the skinnier the better", and I'm trying to convert my thoughts to the different direction here. Thank you so much; I am trying to gain and get muscular in the upper body, but maybe I do not realize that it's not possible to do so without…

Big... hm... that's hard now that I realized I'm living in a different society from you guys (I'm from Thailand), and the girls here are quite petite and have small bodies... so if I were to compare myself with these girls, my thighs are kinda of large. Good idea. I just started the New Rule sof Lifting for Woman program,…

Ah, that kinda simplifies things... thanks... didn't think of it. And yes, i am aware I'm underweight; I am trying to gain actually, but I'm focusing on my cores and upper body more than lower body. And yeah, i'll just see what happens; i'll keep doing the routines i'm doing because i want to get stronger overall..i guess…

um... okay, maybe i used the term in an incorrect way, the word "bulk". Not BULK bulk in massive, but THICKER. From the side views in my photos, they don't look different. But from front views (I didn't show), I can see that it's bigger. anyways, sorry if I got you all confused with my saying of "bulk".
-
I didn't update yet. I'm up to around 99-100 lb already. I'm not bulky because I just STARTED. And for the reason I'm saying I have "bulky" legs means thick and muscular, comparing to my body. I used to have leaner legs.

During cardio- yes during resistance+cardio= yes During lifting= maintainance and very high in protein Hm... i'm scared if i'm eating at calorie deficit I won't gain my muscles on my upper arms- the progress is good up there though. It's just funny on how I don't focus on my lower body at all in lifting except some cardio…
