I am a rancher, so I am physically pretty active. When I am trying to lose weight (like right now) I only count my workouts as exercise. You have to have a 3500 calorie deficit to lose one pound (not counting water weight.) It is hard to have that deficit without exercise. You have to be careful, too, not to eat to little.…

It works best for me to be consistant. So, I start each day at zero calories, rather than negative. I have more success taking one day off a week to eat what I want and not log on.

Good thoughts all. I am on a roll with this since the Valentine's Day challenge. But, we are invited out to eat on Saturday night. So, it is probably a good idea to allow myself a day of a few more calories. The nice thing about logging is it makes me eat foods without the sauces, etc. Simple foods are easier to log and…
