Add a little bit of olive oil to your salads.

I work out early morning. If I don't eat something, I don't have the energy to give the workout my best. I eat breakfast--usually a protein bar or a bowl of granola and skim milk. I get up early enough that I have about an hour between breakfast and my workout.

No need to stop. As a woman, the weight training is very good for you--as is the cardio. As we age, exercise of all kinds keeps us healthy and allows for movement and a generally good lifestyle. Well, it is good for men, too. I am just talking as a woman to is aging.

You look beautiful. Do I see more confidence in your smile? Weight varies so much for each individual. I am 5'4" and my best weight is 125. I have a friend who is my height who weighs 110. We are both healthy. We both look good. Your doctor should have said, "Nice job on losing 112 pounds." You have changed your lifestyle…

Do what feels right and hold your head up. Be proud of your progress.

Change your doctor or maybe try a nutritionist. Be gentle with yourself. Love yourself. If you don't want the surgery, just keep plugging along with your healthy diet, your exercise, and drinking water. It takes lots of time to lose weight the healthy way. Take care and rely on kind people who have fought the same battle…

wow. Amazing. I will have to try it. Doesn't vinegar help with water retention?

Great job.

It is about calories in and calories out. If you have not exceeded your numbers, you are fine.

I don't see a fat person in any of them. You need to work on seeing how lovely you are. I like the orange one a little more than the rest, but you look very pretty in each one.

Having one cheat meal a week is great for your diet. It helps you stick to the rest of the week knowing that you will have freedom once a week. It takes 3500 extra calories to gain a pound and that much to lose one. If you enjoy one meal a week, you can still hit a 3500 deficit. We need to enjoy life. Good food is part of…

love it.

Love yourself. Leave now.

good idea. Maybe you should take your MFP data with you.

If you are happy about yourself then live the way you are. If you are not happy, then you will have to plug away at it. Bottom line, we have to love ourselves. I am sure that you know that you have to have a 3500 deficit to lose one pound. So if you cut back 100 calories a day, it will take a month to lose a pound. Water…

I have always had bigger thighs than other parts--mostly my waist and stomach are small. At one point in my life I was too thin--skeletal on top. Since I was running lots, I had muscular thighs but still larger than the top half. I am in my 50's. I work out 5 days a week and I have an active life style. My thighs are…

You did a great job of helping this woman. Hopefully she will remember your kindness and it will help her to get over the ignorance of the man.

Very, very informative! I was wondering if you are a personal trainer or a nutritionist. Even if you are self-taught, good stuff! I am within a healthy weight and I work out 5 or 6 times a week. Plus, I have an active job and lifestyle. I will be 56 in a month. Though I am not overweight, I am not the weight I like the…

I don't have any before and after pictures, but I have been strength training pretty consistently for the last 13 years. I am 55 and the last time I had a bone density test, the nurse told me I have the bone density of a 27 year old. That has been a few years ago, but I think I can attribute that to strength training.…

Sometimes you have to wear smaller clothes before people will notice.

She needs to learn to trust. She may not be ready for a serious relationship. You did not betray her. Whatever health issues you have, you should take care of for yourself. It is hard to say whether or not the relationship is worth your effort. It sounds like you love her. It is hard to be with someone who wants to change…

Great job!! 68 pounds, wow.

Great accomplishment. You have much to be proud about.

Don't marry him. Sex is a big deal in a relationship--it helps people get through the tough times in life. It is importance for many reasons, not just the physical needs (though it is important for that, too.) I think all of the suggestions about figuring it out are important before moving on. I you can work it out, then…
