You'll quit before you die. I promise. But, holy balls, you're 6'4"? I'd love to be at a towering height. I'm a little jealous.

Depending on how hard you train, you could probably take off anywhere from 30-60 seconds. I noticed my PR's go closer together the faster I got (naturally), but I was able to take entire minutes off my times last summer. I was running anywhere from 100-150 miles a month back then. This summer, I am cross-training as much…

Do you have gym access? See if they have some battling ropes. Look up a battling rope workout on YouTube and do something like that. It's excellent cardio and uses your whole body, but you can stand in one place. I don't have ropes, but I work at a fire department so I use two 50ft sections of out of service 1 3/4…

I prefer to throw mine like a javelin after each lift. Maybe I'm not lifting heavy enough?

I'll be honest with you, I'd just enjoy having a day of indulgence. And then go for a nice, hard run tomorrow. One day will not cause you to lose progress. And if you're strict with yourself all the time, you'll be more likely to give in to temptation, IMO. When I'm constantly policing myself and restricting what I can…

Donate it to a food pantry or give it to a neighbor.

Sweets and wine. The wine I'm not so worried about, but I tend to want both. I love cake, cupcakes, and ice cream. I found myself having a particularly stressful phone conversation this afternoon and I noticed that during/after the call, I went to the fridge and pantry three times to look for something sweet. Luckily, I…

I'd pay money for black licorice. The good stuff, especially.. the soft kind. Ah mah gawd. Delicious.

Sounds like you're hangry.

You mean like for breakfast?

I have two children that say "ugh" at nearly every meal I serve. They're both under the age of 6. What does that tell you about your own behavior? How about you use the $1300 you're saving on rent, buy some groceries and cook dinner for your mother. She might appreciate it, since she lets you live at home and all...

I am the worst water drinker ever to have walked the face of the planet. It takes a huge amount of exertion for me to actually drink water. I can't just drink it, I have to really need it. I got nothing for ya. I'd have to visually set out so many bottles of water and tell myself they must be gone by bedtime.

I have these. http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/products/mobile-audio-video/RF-FR1P.html I love them. I need a smaller earbud in one ear than I do in the other, so I was able to put a smaller plug on one for the right fit. They never come out and they're super comfortable. I used to hate earbuds until I found these. I got…

I just enjoy my meal.

I wouldn't notice the difference. I'm usually there to shop for myself... the size of the associate that helps me makes no difference in my shopping experience. Why would it?

I've never had an actual addiction, but I used to consume copious amounts of ice cream. That was my vice.

It's all about diet for me. The only time I can out-train my diet is at the end of half-marathon training when I'm burning 1000+ calories in a day. Other than that, I have to keep my food choices in check. Burning 300-400 calories does not do enough if I'm not watching my portions as well.

Best I Ever Had by Vertical Horizon for my husband I Love It by Icona Pop for everyone else.

Putting them in the freezer helps. The Reese's, that is.

If you are burning 1200 calories a day, you should be eating 2400 minimum, IMO. 1200 is the amount you should be eating to lose at the rate you've chosen (say, 2lbs per week). You're already at the deficit. Your calorie count shouldn't say 1200 at the end of the day... it should say 0.

Do more cardio. Also, try intervals of fast cardio and moderate cardio. I found that the only way to run longer runs is to run longer runs. Just do it.

Since body fat reduction has already been covered, I'll comment on exercises to work out your arms with what you have. I personally would do a lot of body weight resistance... pushups (elevated and regular), pullups, dips, etc. If you have two 10lb weights, you could do a plank with your hands gripping the weights as they…

Height: 5'7" Age/Gender: 30 yo female Highest weight- 196 lbs Current Weight- 149.8 lbs Current body fat - 24.6% Lowest weight- 145 lbs as an 18yo military cadet with no children. Goal weight- I honestly don't know. I'm more concerned with body fat percentage. I'm already at a healthy weight for my height and I don't know…

Wow, look at you! You look sensational!

I've experienced that same thing. I don't know exactly why, but I do know that I feel fuller longer when I have eggs and yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, etc. Cold cereal does nothing for me except increase my appetite and leave me feeling unsatisfied. I could probably down a whole box and still be ready for lunch at 11am. If…

False - but oddly enough, I'm making it tomorrow. TNP prefers red wine over white.

I'm going on a couple years now and I'm 3lbs away from losing 50lbs. I've had to take two "breaks" for surgeries.

When I read the title of this thread, I thought it said "Saving cats for bedtime?"

I always listen to music when I run. As long as they aren't expressly prohibited I would still wear headphones. I don't like talking to people while I'm running because I'm usually running too hard to spare the breath, so I don't care about holding a conversation. In the Army, they told us if you can complete a sentence,…
