If you're aiming to reduce body fat (which you probably will eating at a deficit and strength training), then it's possible that you will lose fat in the breast area. You can do chest exercises to make your chest muscles more defined, which can make your bust look better, but at the end of the day, it's fat so it may be…

This may be a personal question but do you have a spouse or significant other that can take care of your baby while you take 15 minutes to eat something? I mean, I've had two babies (one was colicky and screamed for 12 weeks straight) but I always found time to eat. I took advantage of naps and bedtime, and my husband…

If I'm looking at another woman at the gym, it's usually because I'm admiring something about her (a beautiful physique, a bouncy ponytail, good form on a lift). And when another woman outlifts me, I say to myself "Hey, if she can do it, I can get there, too. She's awesome." There isn't competition between the women at my…

Make a dozen hard-boiled eggs over the weekend and take them to work with you throughout the week. Sprinkle a little salt on them, instant snack! Delicious. For breakfast, I like old-fashioned oats with a cup of frozen raspberries and a couple sweetener packets. One of my favorite snacks is a mix of 3 parts almonds…

:) Not a nurse or a Disney worker... I'm a firefighter =)

autumnwater, I'd say you work in retail, somewhere posh. Like Nieman Marcus.

Of course. I wouldn't let someone be embarassed like that if I could help it.

Almost always, unless I just can't fathom eating another bite of food for some reason. I'm already eating at a deficit if I DON'T work out, so those extra calories are free.

Uh, I'm sorry but you lost me at "my husband won't let me."

No. I don't walk fast enough while shopping to make it a good burn. It's just part of my day.

I had ITB Syndrome in boh knees during basic training and Airborne school, apparently from running on uneven ground. Absolutely miserable. I agree with foam rolling (which I didn't know about back then) and when you do run, really focus on stretching your hips. The problem, I was told, is the muscle in the hip is pulling…

I tried fasting between lunch and dinner one time.... didn't make it.

To the OP, I agree with weight-lifting. Personally, I choose CrossFit because it focuses on muscular endurance which is something I need for my job. However, it has transformed my body in a way that a strictly cardio training plan never did. I personally recommend doing both.... a form of cardio you enjoy and a strength…

YOLO. I hate it. It's so stupid I would punch it in the face if it had one.

If you lock her up long enough, she'll come around.

I *love* avocado. On everything.

Sloooow doooooown.

When I run to work, it's 5am-6am. It's always pitch black, no matter what time of year it is. I don't wear a headlamp because it would give me a wicked headache, so I wear a reflective belt and I have reflective running shoes. I get off the road for cars so they don't feel like they have to give me room (I do not have the…

To be honest, I'm not afraid at all. I started running and doing Crossfit to lose weight and gain strength for my job but they turned into both my sole source of social interaction and personal pride. I've basically made these things huge parts of my life that I can't imagine not doing anymore. I'll always run and do…

This is where you lost me. If this were my husband, he'd be making his own ****ing french fries.

I doubt he meant it to insult you. I think he meant that his wife would benefit from a workout like yours because she has to sit at a desk all day and most likely feels strain in the muscle groups you are targeting.

I first started running when I joined the military (forced running, of course). I hated it until I got good at it, then it became a pride thing (feeling proud of my performance). When I stopped running and started up again years later, I loved it right away because I'd learned to love it during basic training. So,…

I usually just stretch hamstring, calves, and hip flexors. Spread legs and reach to the ground, reach to each foot, stretch each calf in a lunge position, then the same for each hip flexor. I stretch a little longer if I'm running a short (fast) run, but if I'm running a long run, I use the first mile or so to get warmed…

It's surprising to see things change that have never ever changed before. I've yo-yo'd a little over the years but there were some features that always looked the same (the shape of my my thighs and my sides in particular). Those things were the last to change and I guess I just never got that far before. Now, I've gotten…

If binge drinking if the question, the answer is yes.

People say there are more losers online than in "real" places, but then you watch the cops tackle some guy with a baggie of cocaine in his shoe at the mall and you realize losers are everywhere, as are winners. I'd say you have the same chance of finding quality people online as you do in the food court or anywhere else.…

I'm pretty sure it's aaaaall good.

I wasn't aware that they were.
