<4 days post-op, non-weight bearing left knee for 6 weeks. Don't worry about eating too much; the crippling nausea from your narcotic pain medication will keep your appetite in check. :P

I'm currently in a wheelchair after a knee surgery. I just spent 23 minutes wheeling around my neighborhood as fast as I could. I looked ridiculous but I burned 174 calories doing it.

Got scheduled for knee surgery :\

Replying so I can come back later! Looks yumy!

Husband is working, I'll be home alone with the kiddos. I'll be in bed by 8:30pm, without a doubt.

October: 151lbs Current: 157lbs. I injured my knee on October 10th and have been sidelined from running ever since. I managed to maintain my weight for several weeks but after Thanksgiving, it just went downhill. I recently started cross-training with the goal of maintaining my cardiovascular strength and muscular…

Your best tool is going to be your diet. My husband started doing Crossfit over 6 months ago but it wasn't until he started eating clean that he really saw results. He's lost 40lbs so far and the difference in his physique is incredible.

I a 5'8, weigh 153lbs and I wear a size 10.

I'd maybe try to volunteer with them at a local soup kitchen or food pantry. Maybe you can teach them about giving back to others and such. When I though we were going to be really tight this year, I purchased a wooden semi truck and trailer at a thrift store for $2. I then used paint I already had on hand to paint awesome…

OMG, I totally forgot.... in the midwest (I live here but I'm not from here) they eat Spaghetti Red which is chili served over spaghetti noodles and a side of sliced dill pickles. It's the weirdest ish I've ever seen.
-
I also only like three things in my chili... ground beef, kidney beans, tomatoes. That's it. No onions, no green peppers... nothing. Keep it simple.

Putting fruit in cottage cheese. Not right.

If I needed to add calories to my meals, I would add green olives, avocado, nuts, and lots of fruit to what I'm already eating. Instead of just a chicken breast, smash up some avocado and smear it on top, then sprinkle feta over it. That's what I'd do. You can add olives and sundried tomatoes to your salads. Have a bowl of…

I work out to tolerance If I can't tolerate it, I don't do it. I'm sick as a dog right now and I skipped today's workout.

I'm 5'7, 152lbs, hips: 39.5 and waist: 30.25 so we are pretty close! My ultimate goal is actually 145lbs and I need to stay around that weight (for my job) but lose inches. I can't be 120lbs or the fire hose would pick me up off the ground! Feel free to add me!

Have you heard the cover by The Sundays? You might like it even more, especially since your mother sang it.

So many emotions, so many songs. Sad: Overcome by Live Happy: Perth by Bon Iver Motivated to be awesome: Hero of the Day by Metallica Gooey-lovey-dovey: This Woman's Work by Maxwell Strong: She Wolf by David Guetta As for a song I absolutely cannot listen to without crying.... I want my knee to be healed and back to normal.

Once something is too big (like noticeably big), I donate it. I don't have any big clothes to fall back on, so I've got to at least maintain to be able to leave the house every day. It works for me. Even with my current injury and NO exercise for the last 8 weeks, I have maintained my weight with only a gain of 2-3 pounds,…

Funny, at home I have a husband and two young sons, so I either see what a 215lb man eats, or what my kids eat. At work, I see what/how firemen eat. I truly don't think I'm ever around anyone who eats "normally." However, I like to think I'm at a normal weight. I enjoy my food and I eat every bite. I never put more on my…

4000 calories gives you a lot of wiggle room. I would start eating lean meats and tons of veggies and fruit, switch to diet soda if you must drink soda at all (I drink the flavored sparkling water you can buy at Walmart instead). You don't have to cut out everything you love, you can still indulge in treats... you just…

I'm excellent at masking my true emotions when I need to (like at work), but I never do it at home with my family.

I'm 30, but my job is pretty stressful on my body and I have injured myself three times in the last year (I dislocated my knee cap in December of last year, I got a hernia in January, and I sprained my left knee last month by hyperextending it to the side). I seem to always be injured and am having a particularly tough…

I can walk under an awning if I'm completely underneath it but I cannot walk under the edge of the awning where I'm only halfway underneath it. I always think it's going to fall and slice my head right down the middle. *shudder* I tap metal door handles before I grab them in case there's a shock waiting for me. Same with…

I'm at the mercy of the cook, which is not me. I'm not really fond of Thanksgiving. I really don't get the turkey hype. I eat turkey like twice a week. I'd be more excited for a huge Greek or Italian spread. Everyone eats dinner at like 2pm and then by 7pm I'm hungry again... it's just weird.

I like my footlong buffalo chicken on white with pepperjack and ranch and I'm not afraid to show it, show it, show it.... I eat Subway and I know it.

October 3: 151.2 lbs October 10: 151.0 lbs October 17: 151.8 lbs This week's loss: + 0.8 lbs Total October loss: + 0.6 lbs My knee sprain on October 10 has thrown a wrench in my plan. I'm not very good at eating on rest days and this entire week has been a rest day. I've been taking muscle relaxers (which are gone,…

I rarely drink more than 20oz of straight water. I drink lots of sparkling water.

In rugby, I used to duct tape my boobs down and my socks up.
