Koldriana, where did you find that picture? Thanks!

And just to clarify, my legs are almost 24 inches around for each thigh.

I take singulair and zyrtec together, and I have not noticed a difference in my weight loss when I compare pre-meds and post-meds. Honestly, what I would do if I were you is make sure I am measuring all of my food correctly (get a food scale if you don't have one, they are wonderful!) and make sure your calorie burn at the…

If you have dumbbells, I would suggest getting 30 Day Shred. It's a $9 investment and it gives great results. In many of the fitness magazines (self, fitness, oxygen, shape) they give many exercises that can be done with just a few dumbbells or stretch bands. I also like yoga for toning. You just need to make sure you have…

For some people, weighing daily is a good thing. It keeps them motivated and allows them to continue on their path to a healthier life style, or to maintain their healthier life style. For you, this is not the case. Instead of helping, it is hindering. So you have two options. You can either continue weighing daily but…

The most recent research I have read on BC state that while BC does not cause actual weight gain, it does make it harder to form good muscle tone/gain muscle mass, which I think can impact you metabolic rate to some extent. Keep a close eye on your weight/water/sodium/calories/gym time. Be sure to be more than brutally…

Wow. I couldn't even get past the first page so if someone said this already on the second page, then I'm sorry. But how dare some of you make fun of the OP for her intake or her comments. She has orthorexia. That is/can be just as damaging physically and mentally as anorexia, bulimia, ednos, any other ED I've missed. How…

When you start a new exercise routine, your muscles retain water for muscle repair, so even if you are drinking enough water, you will still retain some in the initial weeks. Don't worry about it too much. That water weight should eventually fall away. Don't forget to take your measurements. I bet you'll see a difference…

if you go to KT tapes website, they show you how you can tape for pretty much any issue. When I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my foot, this pretty much got me through my half marathon training. Make sure you follow the directions and videos exactly though. If you do, the tape will last up to 5/7 days. I…

First off, its only been a week. Your body is not always going to lose every week. I know that can be discouraging, but keep with it. If after a few more weeks you don't see a loss, then you can try switching it up a bit. I did not look at your diary, but when my weight loss was stalled, or was cycling the same 4 pounds, I…

I think for males I read that body fat% had to be down close to 9% to really see abs and women its closer to 15% (though I could be wrong here). You may need to do a bulk/cut cycle to really see your abs. You can cut now until you are at a weight you like, and then you will have to bulk (eat in surplus) while lifting heavy…

I typically drink my water plain (its so hot right now all I want is water!) but if I want to change it up a bit I add cucumber slices, a squeeze of lemon juice and a few drops of stevia. It's so good!

I'm 140 now and I wear between an 8 and a 12 depending on the brand of jeans. But in a dress, I wear a 6 most of the time. So I think when you are in the 150-160 range you should be able to wear a 10 dress, though maybe not a 10 in jeans. Jeans do not forgive, lol.

To really outline the change in sizing, just look at what used to be size 12 what is a size 12 now. I giggle when everyone goes "Marylin Monroe was a size 12! Curvy is better!" A current size 12 is about 41 inch hips. When Marylin was around, a size 12 was 36 inch hips I believe, looking at pattern sizes from that erra.…

I am 140 and I wear between a 8-10 in jeans for the most part. I even put on some of my 12's on a puffy day, but they fall down without a belt. I am very much a pear shaped woman though.

Coming from an ED myself, I know how frustrating it can be when you finally want to lose weight in a healthy manner, and your body goes and does the exact opposite. I also know that asking you to eat 2000 daily would be a real struggle at this time. You said you did a week at 1200 a day. That's awesome! Lets see if you can…

On top of cardio, dry brushing, and moisturizing (all which are very good suggestion!) you need to make sure you are building a strong base under all of that fat. So you need to train your muscles, and train them using heavy weights. I'm working on this now too. Pesky little (big) devil.

In the last 14-16 months I have been on two rounds of prednisone starting at 60 mg a day and then weaning down. While each time I was only on the prednisone for a short period of time (2 weeks each) due to respiratory issues, I had serious side effects, and as I've been told, the effects get worse each time. Also, in my…

and there is no way that a standard pancake is only 55 cals. That much I know from making my own. Unless you are talking about the half dollar cakes (or whatever they are called).
-
Wait, why would it be 9x the volume? Wouldn't it be 3x? I know math is not my strongest subject, but still....eating one 12 inch pancake has not filled me up the same as eating a stack of 9 pancakes.....not even sure I could eat a stack of 9 4" pancakes....

If I do the math (using some other numbers I've also seen and sort of averaging, sort of taking some of the higher numbers) it would be around 350 ish. Too me that seems too low, but what do I know, lol. Exercise will be happening anyway. I've got a 3 mile run and 30 day shred calling my name. And Sidesteal, I agree :)

Darn. You mean there is no such thing as a magic pill? *sigh* Just keep plodding away then I guess. *plodplodplod*

Oh I know I cant spot reduce. My hips make that clear, lol. However, I was just wondering what people have done (exercise, food, water, etc) that they noticed had the biggest impact on their overall measurements. I am recently getting back into running now that an injury has healed, and I am doing 30 day shred, as well as…

Most people I know with an eating disorder try and encourage those who are trying to recover to get better, not to get worse or even to stay the same. I say continue with your recovery. Good luck hun :) You seem to have made some wonderful progress so far!

Thats what I thought but I dont have a cardio aspect to it, beyond the lack of rest so my heart rate is still elevated just due to constantly moving and lifting
-
Totally would do it. Tell your friends to shush. Its not hurting them, and its making you feel better. Couldn't you just look at your chart though? Without asking for a copy? I thought they had to show you your chart if you asked to see it, you just couldn't leave with it.

Your comment of wheezing at night is worrying, b/c that is typically a sign of GERD/LPR, not asthma. I would def check into that. Also, if you were given an inhaler, you should have been shown how to use it. Go back to your asthma doc and ask for other ways to control it. I get asthma like symptoms due to severe allergies,…

I would definitely be doing a full body lifting routine, not just arms and abs. That will help the overall appearance of your body. Also, make sure when lifting that you eat enough protein for muscle repair. I know a lot of body builders eat 1 gram per pound of body weight. While I struggle to reach that amount, you could…

While at the gym, I thought of something else I wanted to add to my original post. Many people on PT are not your typical "stereotype" of a girl/guy with an eating disorder. We all also recognize the "seasons" of an eating disorder website. The weeks leading up to prom, summer vacation, back to school. The website is…
