This made me giggle

Really? Sometimes it can be boring, that's when I try to add the crystal light or a fruit flavored water. But for the most part I've trained myself to just drink it whenever. I started drinking Lipton Diet Green Tea (the chilled version) as a little treat.

Float things are called 'pull buoys' if you're looking for some. Easiest stroke would be freestyle or backstroke, depending on your swimming level.
-
Water walking/jogging is like treading water but you move yourself forward. Most people wear a float belt to help keep them up. A lot of our athletes who had injuries would go down to the pool and do that for awhile
-
maybe water walking if the pool is deep enough.

I know where you're coming from. As far as MFP goes I actually selected friends who had similar measurements/goals so that they were more familar with our struggles as "skinny people". You can always be my friend; I'm usually pretty good about cheering people on.

Totally agree with your first paragraph. They are a huge inspiration and I applaud them!
-
I'd just like to say I really like your shoes. =)

We're in the same boat. I'm only 5'4 at 125lb and have an *kitten* that could put JLo to shame. So far the best thing I've found is running. I have muscular/thick legs and then a skinny upper half. So while I try and gain up top I'm trying to tone down below.

Aeropostale is the same. I can wear jeans from highschool, i.e 1/2 ... but I bought jeans 6 months ago that are a 3/4 that I can't get on at all. So everyone struggles with this. I just keep working and remind myself that it isn't about numbers. It isn't about numbers. It isn't about numbers. Keep up the good work!

Holy crap girl! Huge difference!!! You keep working hard and taking care of yourself, you will be there before you know it! Celebrate your success thus far!

Chew gum and drink water. Sometimes I'll eat some crushed ice until it's time for me to eat.

Um - it posted twice ... so .... disregard this one.

Let's do this!

If they're friends then they should understand and applaud your journey of becoming healthy. I'm 23 and no longer drink - my friends got up my @ss about it in the begining but after awhile they accepted it and found something else to occupy their time. It's your body - your only one - and to be successful you need to make…

I've been working out RELIGOUSLY since Feb ... I've lost 3lbs ... enjoy the victory you have thus far and keep working!

haha me too - I'm funny in my own little world. figured it'll give me a reason to do it, so I can then write about it.
-
I'm also starting tomorrow ... I started a blog to express my feelings publicly about it. Glad I won't be alone.
-
I have a macbook - I'd say either picnik online or iphoto
-
Good luck on your journey. As far as drinking a gallon of milk - I think I'd vomit haha
-
I gained weight however less moody ... I think. I know I gained weight and it was in a short amount of time 4-5 months maybe? I've since gone off and working on losing the weight. Depo caused me to gain weight and feel crazy ... er crazier. =) Good luck - everyone is different.

I'd go through and search for the elliptical vs treadmill debates previous users have posted. Obviously the elliptical is low impact and doesn't cause you pain. Ideally you're goal is to be within your target heart range for a certain period of time. Maybe try upping the resistance for a few minutes or the "incline" and…

Bump started with shred but couldn't stick with it - think I'm addicted to the gym too much. but I may consider ripped.
