Nope, Candy Corn is better! mmm candy corn. The pumpkins are the best ones!

Are you an American?!?! It's the number one fall candy of all time!!

That sucks. I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I really think if I were in that situation I'd keep my mouth shut and just vent later to someone who really cared. I know when I lost weight three years ago (my lowest was in the 160s and it was during my sister's wedding) everyone seemed to notice my loss and compliment me…

Haha! Totally agree!

Funny, I just made a post similar to this. I understand how you feel. I have a major sweet tooth once it's activated. I know it sounds funny but really, I have issues with sweets. I'm trying really hard right now to avoid sweets because I don't have the control to STOP. I just ate a serving of candy corn I was given by my…

Fine, guess I'll post today, I feel all pressured and stuff. I've been weighing in every Wednesday and was going to wait until my typical weigh-in day but now everyone's posting so I might as well jump on the bandwagon! I just won't change my ticker until Wednesdays. My weight right now is a little off thanks to Aunt Flow…

If I were you I'd quote the post you are trying to correct and then delete the "quote" at the beginning and end of the paragraph.

I haven't lost all the weight I need to but I can tell you I plan on taking pictures of myself at every 10 lb. loss and keeping them to remind myself never to gain the weight again as well as reminding me how far I've come. Look at pictures of yourself from the past and compare yourself. I bet you'll see a difference.

omg that sounds DELICIOUS!

I've had this instant breakfast in the pantry for a while and typically I go for cheerios or yogurt but I felt like changing it up. It came as a shock to me to eat it and realize afterward I consumed too much sugar. I do go for walk/run in the mornings after breakfast so something not too heavy is what I prefer for…

I eat Dannon Light & Fit it's delicious and only 80 calories. I don't know if they have that in the UK or not. I'm assuming they would. Toasted Coconut Vanilla is my favorite flavor so far.

My goal is 140 for now. I just want the major weight to GO AWAY! I'm thinking I'll go down to 135 if I feel it's possible by then.

SW (9/18)- Week 1 (9/25)- Week 2 (10/2)- Week 3 (10/9)- Week 4 (10/16)- Week 5 (10/23)- Week 6 (10/30)- Week 7 (11/6)- Week 8 (11/13)- Week 9 (11/20)- Week 10 (11/27)- Week 11 (12/4)- Week 12 (12/11)- Week 13 (12/18)- Week 14 (12/25)- Goal weight- 140 or lower! I am!! That's actually my goal is to lose all the weight I want to lose BY Christmas time! Yay, I have a group! :-)

thanks for the link!

I'm 5,7" (only one inch shorter) and my goal is 140 for now. Depending on how I feel/look I might try 5 lbs. lighter. I've NEVER been a healthy weight in my life and my major goal (more so than getting a number) is having an acceptable belly to show off in a two piece (not looking for a 6 pack or anything of the sort). I…

I got down to a US 12 when I was in the mid 160's. I'm losing again and will be in the 160s soon enough. Right now I'm US 14 at 172 lbs. I have a lot of belly so I guess I'm the oddball. I'm 5,7" with a small bone frame.

So Express might be on the pricey side. I'd suggest you try Gap or go to a store that carries Levis (or to an actual Levi store). I can tell you right now there IS a major difference in fit between 'cheap' (as in cheaply made) and 'slightly more expensive' jeans. I avoided jeans from Gap for a long time solely because the…

Awesome job!! You're a very active person, it's nice you give yourself some variation in your activities. I bet you never get bored! Congrats on your success and keep it up!

I'm very pleased with MFP so far. I think this is the first time I've actually really changed my lifestyle and seen results. When I tried to lose weight previously I never took my every day diet into consideration, I thought if I worked out like crazy that I'd see results. I was wrong, exercise alone isn't nearly as…

I agree completely. I too tried working out at night and I've noticed how inconsistent I am with keeping the schedule going. Do what works best for you.

Now that I think of it they might be jealous you know how to walk while they're being lazy butts and driving everywhere.
-
Funny you mention that, I actually had that problem last fall semester I was walking to class. I got random honks, no finger or anything. I don't know why they do it. I haven't had that issue yet. I just ignore them. It's not like I'm walking in the street obstructing traffic. I want to say the only reason it happened to…

Thanks everyone for sharing your inspirations and motivations!! Great responses, congrats if you've met your goal and keep going if you're still on your way to reaching your goal! We can do this. In words of Nike, just do it.

Aww sorry about your older son :-(. Glad you realized it's time to change. I do get the not wanting to go to the doctor to avoid being weighed. I posted earlier on here about that as well in response to another post. I think most people fear the scale in the doctor's office if they're overweight. Hearing the dreaded words,…

I know where you're coming from. I gain my weight in my belly area, always have. In fact, when I was heavier (low 200s was my highest) finding jeans that fit me was difficult. I don't have much butt and thigh therefore buying a bigger jean meant fitting my 'waist', NOT fitting my butt (too loose). I know I'll be making…

I had a similar experience several times throughout my life but I don't think they were as bad as the "are you pregnant?" comment. I remember several times when I was younger (elementary age) being asked by either my tiny grandmother or my next door neighbor's mother (about the same age as my grandparents) how heavy I was…

Neato, thanks for the advice! I know my boyfriend's cousin has some Five Finger shoes but I don't think he's used them often enough to really have an opinion (he's had them for about a year now and rarely runs). As far as wearing water shoes in the winter with wool socks I'll have to pass on the wool (allergic). I'll…
