If it is that hard to lose, it will probably really hard to maintain too if you already so close to your goal. Are you sure you don't want to do recomposition instead? I am not knowledgeable in that area but a lot of people are in the ''maintaining'' forum. Might be worth a look :)

Yes, for as long as you do not overestimate your calories burned. Are you really sure you are sedentary though? I've heard on the forums that most people should at least be ranked in the moderately active category. The best way to figure it out though is to be consistent with your logging and hitting your calorie goal as…

Chicken noodle soup with 3 crackers, a slice of cheese and a black forest ham sandwich with bacon. Then I had vanilla ice cream... YUM!

I have figured out some ''sweets'' that aren't really sweets, and then occasionally I'll have some of the good stuff... but only one portion. For example, I love having Greek yogurt mixed with cocoa powder and Truvia. It tastes like a sweet but it barely has any sugar and it packs a protein punch which is great for…

I do agree that finding low calorie options help by providing with bigger volume of foods, therefore helping in feeling satisfied, which ultimately helps sticking to your diet! For me, I thought it'd be easier to stick to what I usually eat, and incorporate healthier things. Of course, there is no room for a box of donuts…

Well, I have found that with my experience doing LCHF 2 years ago, I basically used this as a way to avoid dealing with my self-control around food. Now, I thought I would cut straight to the problem and practice moderation from the beginning! Hoping this will be the key factor in reaching my goal and maintaining…

Well just remember to take into consideration your deficit planned. For me, I chose to lose 1lb/week, and I have 61lbs to lose, so that should take me about 61 weeks to lose. This is what I chose as my goal date. From there, the trend will simply indicate when you would reach your goal according to what your trend is. This…

As you start logging your weight it will create your projection line based on your personal trend. The other line is set according to the info you input via the settings. :) Hope this helps @ShammersPink

Amazing dedication! I intend on weighing in daily as well :)

How often do you weight in?

You're so lucky! With both pregnancy I put on a bunch of weight and I hardly lost any. I lost 15lbs after giving birth, and maintained eating anything and everything until now but I am 4 months postpartum and I would like to kick start this weight loss. I am still 30lbs from the weight I was before I had my second, and…

I am happy most of the time but I am not perfect; but it doesn't have anything to do with my weight. This is something I will always keep on working since I know life isn't done throwing me curve balls but I know that it makes me stronger. Becoming in shape again will certainly bring me satisfaction, but it isn't the end…

@CafeRacer808 Don't worry, I am now in the obese category... Just a few pounds from overweight but still!! Like you said... Rude awakening!!

Thanks for your reply! That's basically what I got it for. I am going the ''slow and steady'' route this time around so I thought it would help me stay patient while seeing the trend going down even when my weight seems not to be moving. Not the case just yet as I just started and most of what I am losing is probably water…

I saw a picture from an event I attended... and it wasn't pretty. Until then I knew I needed to lose weight but was telling myself I looked fine for 185lbs, and that it didn't show that much I had put on all that weight. Uhmmm, NOT! Lol
-
Omg lol. Btw, you look great! Super inspiring :)
-
Good to know! Lol
-
How long have you used it for?
-
Bumping up

Totally make sense! I am already adjusting meals and changing things I wanted to try to things I would usually eat naturally, just in more modest portions. I do push myself to try different things, but for the most part I eat what I feel like eating and I'm surprised to see it is pretty easy to hit my macros. I guess the…

So would I! This seems so fun and motivating :)

Thanks @PAV8888  Great advice. I got Libra and it's pretty cool so far.

We do share a lot when it comes to weight loss! I also just might start with the Notes section too! Thanks for the tip :) Also the positive self-talk, gotta do it more lol.

I'm 5'5'' 183lbs, goal is 125lbs-130lbs.

That's a great idea. I was meaning to become more accurate with logging my weight anyway, any you would suggest @PAV8888 ?

Maybe check different sources online and try different things. Those two links seemed interesting. There's no harm in trying. You might learn something new about your body! http://www.rebootwithjoe.com/what-do-your-food-cravings-really-mean/ http://eatwiseteens.org/food-cravings-what-your-body-is-telling-you/ Congrats on…

I think it's a good thing that you realize this now instead of when you reach your goal weight. You can start working on your self-love right now and catch up with your loss and by the time you reach your goal you will be in such a great place! I have some friends that will never be happy with the weight they are. Now they…

I'm not vegetarian, but here's a few ideas for you: Snapea Crisps taste amazing and are really filling! I love rice cakes and they have so many flavors! Popcorn is a great low cal snack to eat. I looooove greek yogurt and it has lots of protein. I get the plain kind and flavor it myself (Truvia, vanilla extract, cocoa…

Hi! I am EBF my 4 months old and trying to start losing weight. I have about 60lbs to lose. I don't know if I will be able to lose weight but I can still aim to better my diet until then :) My TDEE is 2200cals so I should eat 1700cals/day to lose 1lbs/week. I thought I would start at 1800cals and go from there. Maybe I…
