well, sort of, LOL. you should try growing some cucumbers! They are ridiculously easy, and you can do it in a flowerpot if you dont have a yard! We made pickles too last year, and LOVED them.

First and foremost, i NEVER EVER EVERRRR liked to run (until recently), even though i did run in high school on the track team...i think it was the camaraderie that made me stick with it. With that being said: #1 Try to get a running buddy at least to start out. It really does help! #2 I personally CANNOT run without music…

Just this past Sunday, i went to an-all-you-can eat-buffet with my mother and my son. Their choice. I silently vowed to eat chicken and steamed veggies. Before i knew what happened, i had eaten two overflowing plates containing: pizza, garlic rolls, teriyaki chicken, mini egg rolls, fried rice, mac-n-cheese, broccoli,…

I've cut out most of the boxed side dishes (au gratin potatoes, mac & cheese, rice-a-roni, etc....), but occasionally i will still indulge. I still eat canned beans, but i rinse them first now. I also still eat Lean Cuisines............... and turkey sausage patties from Jimmy Dean.

^^ THIS. i also used to do the several small meals a day thing, but i was ALWAYS hungry. Now, i find that eating a bigger breakfast helps me eat less throughout the day. and PROTEIN, PROTEIN, PROTEIN!! Last things, is i will sometimes have an unsweetened herbal tea to help "fill me up" in between meals.

Just bought Nike Dual Fusion... REALLY like them. They have breathable mesh toes/sides and they are really light. They also feel very supportive.... paid $65 for them at Sports Authority!

Like many others, it was a picture for me. I have that photo in my profile. It's from New Year's Eve 2010 and i was at my highest non-pregnancy weight. I gave birth in December of 2009, so it had been a year and I could no longer blame "baby weight". For some reason, when i looked in the mirror i wasn't "that"…

sometimes i play what i call the "HRM game". I'll sprint to get my heart rate up as high as i can for as long as i can stand it, then drop to a fast walk, then a slow walk and let my heart rate get down. The whole "game" is not to let my heart rate get under a certain # (for me it's 130). The bursts of energy you use…

I didn't read all the comments, so I hope I'm not repeating someone elses answer! I love veggies too, and STILL find it difficult to get my daily count in. Try adding spinach, peppers, and onions to an omelet for breakfast. Stir fry is a great way to fit in a variety of veggies too........ and i also used to use cucumber…
