Anyone know of a good lifting app? There's plenty for cardio ones (c25k, etc...) I know but it would be great to have one for strength training.
-
Wow! You look AMAZING! Now, tell me your secrets (please) What's your lifting routine?

Did pretty good today! Woohoo!!

I feel like, when I work out I really release some good chems because I come back relaxed, clear minded, and not anxious at all. If I procrastinate on a work out, which happens almost daily, I am anxious, crabby, and all over the place and even though I know a brisk walk is all I need to feel better, sometimes it's hard to…

Not sure how to do the math if I don't know body fat % let alone lean body fat... I'm trying to figure this out for my hubby.

I'll join the ladies who are restarting today and restart myself. Yesterday was a major fail and I have got to get it together.

junky garbage foods will go through you like water. It's the good foods, which you're consuming, that the body likes to hang with longer because it can get more goodies out of it. So that's why things aren't moving along as fast as they used to on a crappier diet. So, your body needs to get used to things, and maybe you…

yesterday was a major fail for me. Went to the movies and made bad choices even though one pear was involved in the mess. Anyway, woke up today feeling totally crappy. My body is pissed!!

sorry to repeat but, bump!

Sounds delish! How'd it turn out? Day 2 - so far a success. There's still a few hours left for me but I just had a bowl of no added sugar cereal which seems to be helping curve the intense cravings for garbage.
-
Day one - I'll consider a success, though I did have a taste of my friend's brownie sundae... Come on, brownie sundae in front of a pregnant lady with a sweet tooth?? That was pretty good of me to just have one taste. How is everyone doing?

Stress is never good and your hubby is right, be positive and don't dwell on the worries. This is coming from a major worry head. If I can give you one piece of advice, without knowing your health state or anything: Do what you can now to get as healthy as you can before getting pregnant. I mean, really work hard on your…

I need this. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and have been giving in to my junk food cravings waaay too much the last couple weeks especially. I am starting to miss the morning (aka all day long) sickness now. It's just making me feel awful about myself!! I'm not going to be tracking my weight (since inevitably it's going up not…

I think switching schools can have a negative effect on your daughter, even though your best intentions are there. It may teach her to run away from problems in life. I think you should tell her there's no reason she should be offended by these kids because they don't know you and how hard you're trying to change your…

I hear what you're saying but how's about a little sensitivity? We can give people advice without making them feel like total losers by putting them down like that. Here's to hoping the OP is getting careful medical care/follow up and is setting himself to a major WIN!

I think for those days you should def be upping your calories. Maybe if you're set to sedentary, for example, most days, the days you do more you could change it to mildly active or whatever they've termed it as. Because let's face it, those days you are burning more so yes, you need more fuel. This kinda goes along the…

great job!

Ooooh I like the sound of that! Thanks :)

Only managed 8804 yesterday! Well under my 12000 goal but got an annoying cramp on the side of my stomach and decided not to stop. If I weren't pregnant I'd suck it up and keep going til the pain went away or got worse lol. Today am aiming for 12000 again and will succeed! I too only count the steps when I'm geared up and…

3000 done with my dog this morning, 9000 to go for my evening walk in a few hours! Been averaging only about 6000 a day because I was doing other exercise at home but now the doc wants me to just focus on walking for exercise so I'm aiming for half hour in the AM and an hour and a half in the PM. (I'm 5 months pregnant…

Anyone used cocoa butter or some other natural moisturizer during pregnancy for stretch marks etc? I'm alternating between cocoa butter and a natural oil (nuts and such) daily. I'm 5 months preg and have yet to really bulge out so it'll be some time until I see whether there's truth to keeping the stomach moisturized or…
