Also check your weight at around the same time of day. Everyone's weight fluctuates throughout the day. Best time is first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Your body adjusts to the times you eat and how much. I used to have a very fast metabolism, so fast I could not gain weight no matter what I ate or the amount. Eating only once or twice a day is very unhealthy! You do more damage than good, your body stores fat for energy and strength when doing that method, so gains in muscle and loss of fat won't happen.
