With Christmas and New Year's around the corner, this is going to a rough time for me (and some of you too). There are so many food traditions we have that I will need to avoid or modify. I'm so stressed with it all.

I'm now heading into the two roughest weeks which include Christmas and New Year's. So many food traditions I need to avoid or modify. Best to you all, as well.

leni1us Friday PW: 170.4 CW: 168.1 This is a rough time for a lot of us. Some are struggling with money issues, others with family issues and then there's COVID issues. I just hope to not gain over the holidays and lose at least 2 more pounds by Christmas.

As I catch up the thread, I see a number of us are struggling a bit this week. Unfortunately, I am in the same boat. I'm not expecting great things tomorrow at weigh in. This week has been such a whirlwind. One of my friends tested positive for COVID and she has high blood pressure AND high cholesterol. I focused very…

Not expecting great things tomorrow at weigh in. This week has been such a whirlwind. One of my friends tested positive for COVID and she has high blood pressure AND high cholesterol. I focused very little on myself and what I was eating this week. I still did my meal prep but there were still a lot of BLTs (bites, licks…

Saturday Track: Yes Exercise: Yes. Walked 30 Calories: Over I need to focus on not eating things that were not planned. I prepped all my meals for the day but I get very loose in the evening after dinner.

Daily post: Friday Track: yes Under calories: no Exercise: 45 minute walk this morning. The overage came from large fast food French fries I shared with my husband (I ate about 1/2 and recorded it). I took the advice of @Gold6767 and @Isabelle and prepped my food in the morning (my breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks). I…

@quilteryoyo . Sending good thoughts and prayers your way. Although it may be a bit scary, the hospital will be overly cautious and protective of your health BECAUSE of COVID. The surgery will be in your rearview mirror next Thursday (12/10). Then it will be all about healing.

leni1us Friday PW: 172.6 CW: 169.4 This is my first week and I know most of the weight I lost is from water but I'll take it anyway! This next week it's all about getting my water in and moving more.

leni1us December Week 1 Friday PW: 172.6 CW: 169.4 Even though I went over on my calories a couple of days, I was still able to lose some. I am keeping in mind that this is my first week so most of the weight I loss is from water but I'll take it anyway!

@quilteryoyo I don't know, medically, what you are going through but I do send all my good thoughts and prayers your way. I've been through similar and waiting can be nerve racking. Hoping and praying for good news.

Wednesday Track: Yes Exercise: Yes. Walked 35 minutes this morning Calories: Over (81 calories) I think my problem is that I eat first then record the meal. I think I'm eating within my meal calories but when I record it, I'm a bit over. How do you all record your meals? Before or after you eat them?

Hi everyone, I had a bit of a challenge being able to post to this group. All has been fixed and I'm excited to start this journey with you all. I'm a 61 year old. My husband and I have 2 grown children and two furbabies. I retired in August and between that and this pandemic, my waistline is now non-existent. Being home…

I'm new to running and I'm learning a lot from those of you that are seasoned runners and those that are newbies like me. I downloaded the C25K app and I plan on starting this Saturday. Right now, I'm just trying to work on my stamina. I walked 35 minutes this morning and I will do the same again tomorrow and Friday.

Tuesday Track: Yes Calories: Slightly over (100 calories) Exercise: Walked 30 minutes I did pretty good today but could have done better (over on calories). My goal tomorrow is to work on drinking more water and stay within my calorie range.

Hi All, I'm coming back to The Biggest Loser Challenge after being gone a couple of years. I had several surgeries during that time but everything is fine now. My doctor has given me the green light to move forward losing weight. I retired in August and being home and bored for months is not good for my waistline. I'm very…

I'm new to running. I'm in California and I love the outdoors and I need to get moving to get some weight off. I'm 40 lbs overweight and walking/running will be good for me. Not sure of my goal yet because I'm not sure what I can do. I just really want to be consistent and push myself to ultimately run vs. walk by month's…

Hi Barb, Your story sounds a lot like mine. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery late October 2019. Thanksgiving and Christmas are a blur because I was in the midst of chemotherapy followed by radiation. After all that, I am trying now to get my life back on tract in the midst of COVID-19. My immune system is…
