  • So I'm in the Sexy in Six challenge and my weigh in day is actually wednesday but I couldn't help hopping on the scale this AM. I've been really good for the past few days and wanted to see if there had been any change at all. I would have been happy with half a pound....but to my surprise I jumped on and .....drum roll…
  • If you brush them with cinnamon and sugar and want to cut out a few more bad calories you could use the splenda baking mix. Its half sugar and half splenda, or just use splenda all together. I prefer the half and half for stuff like that cuz it doesn't taste much different than regular.
  • Totally! I'm ok with cushioning the blow, but I prefer ppl to be honest with me! I mean ...if I'm wearing a pair of pants that give me muffin top and shows the dimples in my booty....somebody better tell me the truth....I DO NOT wanna hear "ohhh girl ...those pants look good on you...are you loosing weight?"
  • hahahah you guys are great!! This chick is an olympic swimmer, has a personal trainer, and a personal chef....actually she employees a whole TEAM of people. No joke...a whole team. I'd be happy with half that body, since I don't get paid to swim/workout. Actually I'll be happy to have back the body I had when I was…
  • I have the same problem. All of the girls I work with are a size 5 or smaller and they eat what they want, my sister is the same way. I on the other hand have struggled since middle school. But support and sometimes tough love is what keeps ppl coming back right? I'm a keyboard warrior from 8-5 M-F, if you…
  • Ok, so its totally your life and totally your decision, but won't you feel angry with yourself over and over again this weekend if you keep messing up. I don't know about you but I feel even more guilty on Monday if I blew the WHOLE weekend. This is my suggestion, start your exercise on Monday if you want, but pick back up…
  • kistinbee- could you add me to the list please. My real name is Emily Ok, so today is bosses day and we took our supervisor to Olive Garden and I was kind of bad but I think I can even it out pretty well later this evening. B: 1 Huge glass of water, 1 Zone bar-cinnamon roll L: 1 sweet tea, 1 bowl Zuppa Tuscana…
  • I think this one is a personal preference mostly. I weigh myself in the morning, after I've been up for about 10-20 minutes, and only once a week. I find that if I do it every day I become obsessive about every little pound. Having PMDD makes my weight flucuate like crazy, so watching it daily can be disheartening…
  • you could try adding crystal light if its really making you feel like your gonna be sick. Alot of times I find that putting in a little flavor makes all the difference in the world when it comes to forcing down that last glass or two of water. Just remember that the calorie count for the individual serving packets is for…
  • So I just wanted to share this one... I've just made myself a new ticker and I loves it!!! I took this picture of Dara Torres and put it on there. My goal is to look half as good as she does by this time next year. And I wanna look that good by this time two years from now. If I do it earlier great, but I'm givin myself…
  • Ok, so I'm in on this one. I got some cute pants callin my name and 8-10lbs in six weeks doesn't sound so bad. I'm at work so the measurements have to come a bit later this evening but here's the rest: Wt: 238  Ht: 5'4" waist: bust: thigh: arm: goal wt in 6 six weeks 228 ultimate weight 150-160 Breakfast: Zone-…
  • I'm right there with ya luv! I think its hard because the bad stuff tastes so good. Not to mention alot of people don't understand how hard the battle can be sometimes. The girls I work with are all a size 5 or smaller and they keep a wellstocked basket, loaded with chocolate, right next to the printer. Everytime I…
  • Hi and welcome! You'll love the support here, these guys are fantastic!!! ~Emily (gainesville, FL)
  • So for the majority I love my husbands family. They are super sweet and very supportive. The only time I've really gone off was just before our wedding. We'd changed our plans over and over and no one was happy. His family wanted some hoity-toity ta'do but they didn't want to pay for it, and my family couldn't afford it.…
  • M- You are so beautiful! I don't believe for a second you wouldn't be in the top ten count of the most beautiful girls in the room. You might not see it but I'm sure you stop traffic. As for me....my mission to loose weight is about the same. I want to feel sexy in a swimsuit. I wanna buy clothes at the regular…
  • Ohh...can I tell you all how crappy I feel right now. I haven't done so well since the 4th and I'm struggling to get back on the wagon and back on my good path. I haven't gained much weight (less than a pound) so I'm not doing too horribly.....but I want crap food lol.. Last night I didn't feel like cooking and my husband…

  • Picture yourself on your wedding day. In your beautiful dress...with your veil....and the flowers....and the music. Picture youself walking down the isle towards your handsome loving husband... Now ....picture this....as you reach your husband you hear a teeny rip....then you bust outta that dress like Ursula the Sea Hag…
  • Soo....my husband and I have been together for five years. We recently (March) made it official and tied the knot. We've been holding off for a while on starting a family but we're both on the same page right now and we're actually trying to have a baby ...wooo hooo!! :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: I was wondering if any of…
  • Hello fellow Gainesvillian!! Congrats on your weight loss!   :flowerforyou:
  • why can't you drink splenda? are you allergic? If not ...I highly suggest you give Coke Zero a try. My husband lothes diet coke....and so do I...the aftertaste is disgusting!!! Coke Zero has all the fizzy caffinated flavor of regular coke and none of that crappy aftertaste. By the way...when my husband switched...(he's…
  • I did the same thing honey! I was bad from the 4th right up through last night. But I put my foot down this morning and told myself to remember how proud I was when I lost those first three pounds so easy. So this morning I packed my breakfast, and I'm havin Crispers (salad place) for lunch, and my husband works tonight so…
  • I don't own the book but the website has saved my diet on many a night! The trade offs are good, and the author of both is very honest about whether the trade off is worth it or not. Almost everything I've tried so far has been very yummy and tasted only marginally different from the real thing.
  • Count me in too! July 3rd: 232 Aug. 3rd: 226 thats only six pounds, but I'm counting on gaining some serious muscle when I get to start back to the gym next week. w00t w00t
  • I'm totally obsessed with Zone bars right now. I love the cinnamon roll one...it tastes like it should be bad...(unlike some of the other meal replacement bars) its packed with good for you stuff and its a whopping 210 calories! That combined with the fact that you can throw them in the bottom of your purse, don't…
  • My husband has an account but he's not at his turning point so he's not really using it yet.
  • klikittyklak: Just a couple quick and easy things I've found that could fill out your calorie count. 1 Zone Meal Replacement Bar (any flavor) about =210 calories (and they are a bit larger than a candy bar, I suggest the cinnamon roll its yummylicious) 1 1/2 packs quaker weight control instant oatmeal w/ 1snack box raisins…
  • Just make sure you changing your origional weight too. When you set up your profile you were asked what your current and goal weights were....as you loose more weight you need to change it there too. Your allowed calorie consumption could change (meaning you need to consume more) and you might never know it. Also try to…
  • LMBO, ok ....I'm reading the posts....hit the word diet and my tummy instantly starts grumbling. That was too funny! I agree with the others hun! You gotta look at it as a better life. Sometimes we all hit that snag where we feel we've gone to far towards the deep end. Thing is even if you doggy paddle you'll get back to…
  • I agree with Al, if your doing that much exercise you may not be getting enough good foods. Burning up the calories with Tea is great if thats what your hooked on, but your body may need more than that. Try eating a decent size breakfast and lunch, then just eating a small salad with lean protein for dinner. Unless your…
