Get good running shoes, and take it slow. If you try to run too far, too hard, too fast, you'll get frustrated and give up. Running is a wonderful sport, so give yourself the time to become a stronger runner

Started training for my 15K yesterday. I got 3 miles in yesterday, 4 today, going for another 9 this week.

As a recovered bulimic/anorexic, I can say the way I got my behaviors under control was seeking help. I had the most wonderful therapist, and together we got to the deep roots of why my eating was disordered. If you don't have access to therapy (I was able to go to one at my college, so I didn't have to pay extra), I would…

Only 4 weeks left of my 10K training program, and then I plan to start an intermediate 15K training program (first 15K this November!!) Yesterday, I did a 5K, and it was actually a personal best time for me.

Every morning, unless I forget. I track my fluctuations, and also my measurements. Even if I don't see progress on the scale, I usually see it in my measurements.

I am close to being able to run 5 miles at once, in an hour! I couldn't run for a minute when I started. I have also lost an inch off my waist, thighs, and hips in the last two months.

I wish I had really understood how weight loss is not linear. My body holds onto weight for weeks and then in one day I'll drop three pounds. I wish I had started tracking my weight daily earlier, so I could learn the trends instead of being frustrated. Also, more protein from the start!

Added 4 more miles so far this week, hopefully another 8 by saturday!

Around 20 pounds lots of people noticed. After 10 my mother had noticed, and it inspired her to start taking better care of herself too.

Every day, and I track my fluctuations. I log my weight on here usually once a week.

I have been on a similar medication for almost a year. The first month my moods were crazy, and I had this hunger all the time. For me, it was psychological, I just wanted to eat. I had to practice ignoring the hunger, and eventually the symptoms quieted down. By my third month, the mood swings and hunger feelings were…

I aim for once week. Sometimes life gets in the way and it's twice a week. I do listen to my body, so if it needs a rest day (like it sure does today!) I give it one.

I LOVE the cookies and creme ones.

I'm in for 40! July 1 - 4.47 miles

Dining out at restaurants where I can't find calorie information, and being patient.

I did C25K! I went from not being able to run a minute to now running 4.5 miles three or four times a week. I'm currently training for a 10K. It definitely works, but sometimes it's hard. Just push through, and don't be afraid to repeat workouts! Good luck!

Ice cream, wine, peanut butter.

I finished C25K, after failing to try to get into running in the past. I'm now up to running 4.5 mile runs, 3-4 days a week. If you stick with it, it really does teach you to run! But it can be really tough at times (I thought I'd die when I ran my first 5 minutes straight). Stick with it, and don't be afraid to repeat…

Running 3-4 days per week for about an hour each session. Lifting 1-2 times per week, and aerobics 1-2 times per week. I tend to do a combo of these making it 5 days of exercise a week and two rest days.
-
I also start the work day around then, so I know how you feel! I usually do greek yogurt with oats and berries, a protein shake, or eggs and toast.
-
I started on the elliptical, 20 minutes twice a week. I would break it down mentally into 5 minute chunks. Eventually I realized I felt better the days I exercised. Now I do all different things, run, walk, bike, dance, weight lift. Just keep searching, you will find something you enjoy!

Weighing foods, logging on the bad days, being consistent, and slowly building up my endurance for running.

My waist is an inch smaller, and I ran my fastest 5K yet a few days ago.

Chicken, turkey, beef, eggs, beans, greek yogurt, milk, protein powder, and protein bars. A combination of these keeps me full and satisfied, and I have no problem reaching my daily protein goal.

french vanilla!

5K run.

Half of a coconut creme donut and a protein shake.

I'm a computer geek here, getting my undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Math, and plan to get my doctorate in CS.

I like my three meals and I usually don't snack. I go too crazy if I do snack, and I really only get hungry three times a day. But it's really personal preference  Do what works for you!
