Good luck with your journey! I just started, and I can tell you, I already feel so much better! I am not hungry! I am 30 years old, 177 lbs, 5'3. I have a ways to go, but I am only using the scale to determine my macros. My numbers are: 87.5 carbs, 177 protein, and 71 fats on aggressive. On the suggested I can have 114…

You can't change the past, but you can change today. With that said, grab that bull by the horns and conquer! I know that I am not where I was, I am about 50 pounds overweight, but you know what, I am taking charge, and feel better already. Day one is today! Let's get it!

Hello Ladies!! I am 30 years old, 5'3 and a size 12. (177lb) I am doing IIFYM, and weight is only a guide for me, but my goal is to get to a size 6? Or at least that is my goal now. I was an 8 last summer, would love to get back down again. I am up 20 pounds, but since I am lifting, and changing my body comp, I am really…

I am eating greek yogurts, low fat cottage cheese, to help keep my protein up and my fats low. I make sure to preplan some of my meals the day before, and then work my numbers around the main meals I know that I will be having. A tip I also learned was adding protein to my greek yogurt. There is this great chart that shows…

Every one has a starting point. I am not looking forward to my measurements, but I know in a month I will see PROGRESS and those first set of numbers will just be that, numbers.

I had to force myself to make my calorie requirements back in the day, and when I did, it really showed with my progress. I think about everything I do. Like last night, I decided to have Chinese, and even though I ate it, I thougth to myself, well there went my week of ok eating. I wouldn't say to work out multiple times…

I know that I weigh the same as I did when I was in shape, amazingly enough I am sloppy and squishy right now. The scale says a number I was ok with when I was 2 pant sizes smaller, but as of now, I am not ok with it at all.

I do a shake for breakfast some days because I am not hungry, and I learned that I get busy at work and if I didn't eat (or drink) I tend to snack on bad things. I have done both protein smoothies and slim fast. I won't replace it the way it wants you to, but I was successful with doing a shake for breakfast in the past…

I was eating 1100-1200 a day, while working out and I saw the weight melt off when I started eating around 1500 a day of good calories.

You look wonderful!! Look at that jaw line!! :)
-
Great job!! I don't even see the same person as the first pictur!

My son is your daughter's birthday twin :) I don't breast feed anymore, but it is cool that we have so much in common already LOL

I am 5'3 and when I was 185 lbs, I was eating around 1500 calories a day AND working out. I saw quick results. I am not exactly sure my weight now, as I am just starting up again after having a baby (well a year ago lol) and I am trying to eat around 1300 a day since I am sitting all day at a desk and have not started…

It was already said, but yawning is from lack of oxygen to the brain. I yawn too when lifting, and I think I do pretty well with focusing on my breathing....

I hate the false ideas that 1200 calories (including this site) is the only way to lose weight. I hate that (mainly women) think that lifting weights will make them bulk up and grow a penis, when lifting weights and cardio actually is better for weight loss goals. I hate that I become so obsessed with the weight on the…

^^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^^^^ If he is that shallow to begin with, even when you lose the weight, he will find something else to degrade you about. I had this with my ex, and well as I stated ex. Side note- Just because you have two children, doesn't mean you have to stay with an emotional abuser. I have a 6 year old and almost 1…

This seriously is AMAZING!! You did so much in ONLY one year!!! Great Job!

When I get in shape, my breast actually lift up!! I have some damage after nursing my son, but I know that they will perk up some as I build the pec muscles under. I have lost some inches in my chest in the past, but it was my back fat that was going, not my actual bust line.

Keep it up, you are doing great

Great job!!! I bet it is such a fantastic feeling to be able to post in the Success Stories!!

I agree with previous statements that normally weight loss = confidence, which in turn is attractive to people. As for attention, I think being overweight can lead to negative attention. People staring, people whispering.

What an inspiration!! You look AMAZING!!

I gained close to 45 with mine, and I was on bed rest :( I lost ALL muscle. I still have a very long way to go, but it is baby steps. I am not living with the excuse I just had a baby, however I am being real that changes take time.

The weight will slowly do its thing. My son is 3.5 months old now. I was stuck at the same weight since almost 2 weeks post partum. My clothes did change in size. I just now started getting a little more serious about losing it. :) My hips are still huge, my ta ta's are out of control since I breast feed, but I know these…

I have the IUD as well, and I am losing weight with out mood swings as well :)

Good luck to meeting that goal today! I have a hard time as well. The only time I ahve gone over is when I decided to throw back some drinks and when I was eating out. Eating at home is hard to fill the calories with healthy food.

There is a section under snacks that you can add for EBF. I personally am sticking around 1600-1800 a day, and have found that it is NOT enough. If you are starving, your body is telling you that you need to eat more. When I was not nursing, before pregnancy, I had to FORCE myself to fill my calories. I suggest having a…

I always would eat back my calories. Your body needs calories to function. If you burn too many and not eat enough, your body will not lose as quickly and if it does, you will most likely gain it back.
