I'm pretty sure news about Robin Williams' death centers around Robin Williams. I'm also very certain that the time the coroner recorded on his death records was where Robin Williams was at the time he died.... which was Monday morning.

Just because you were asleep when the news broke doesn't change the time of death. I'm pretty sure time of death is noted dependent upon the decedent's location at the time. So he died yesterday morning.
