I'm not that person...but I think it's safe to assume that this is ...fitness...site. Hence my "fitness" pal...so they are showing off their bodies.

Irks my nerves. In soccer the girls would always be like "come on ladies" "you got this ladies"...it motivated me to run further away from them...so I guess it worked in a sense.

It was one of a few opinions given; just like you will get different advice from different doctors. Also, it's basically the same as saying "it's better to eat clean". How this is sensational nonsense, ya got me.

So, my article is basically just a summarized version of the one you offered....?

Do people run when still sore? Why/Why not? Yes, I do, as long as I know it's soreness, not an injury. I was an athlete my whole life, so I feel I can safely make this assessment, and I also know that "3rd is the worst". The 3rd day is the worst for almost anything: injuries, muscle soreness, cramps. But, it also sounds…

I've been trying to find those popsicle containers EVERYWHERE! I never thought to look there :blushing:

And how much does it cost for a bag of chips there? 3.5 banans is approximately 1 lb. So cut 1.29 in half, and there is your lb. And 1.30£=$1, so it's closelythe same... And how much does it cost for a bag of chips there?

Okay, I'm not a Psychologist, but I am going to school to be one, and I feel like this test is totally misleading. Just because you are unhappy with your appearance does not classify you to have Body Dysmorphic Disorder.

....Really? Beans= $1 1lb bananas = 47 cents 1lb apples= 1.50 Rice = $1 Celery = $1 Tortillas= 47 cents 1lb chicken= ~2lb Chips= ~4-5$ a bag (half filled with air) Cookies= ~3-4 Meal @ Mcdonalds= 4-5$

Correct me if I'm wrong....but if you're walking at 5mph for a mile...and running at 5mph for a mile...it will take you the same exact time Or has everything I've been learning in math all these years been totally wrong?
-
Lol I always stretch really really good (for like 20 minutes) after I work out. I'm trying to get my splits back. It practically puts me to sleep. :P I love it.
-
I would be dying walking 5mph for 3 miles...rather run it... But speed walking I've heard burns more calories because you are working your muscles harder.

I haven't done any in-class yoga stuff; just DVDs...but this conversation is making me want to use at least one day a week for yoga. I've been suffering a bad case of insomnia for a month and a half; which is frustrating because i'm usually a really really really good sleeper. Maybe yoga will help!

Honestly, why the hell would I care? I don't care what people wear out of the gym, why would I care elsewhere; especially at the gym  Wear what you are comfortable in. As long as you aren't showing your genitals off, it doesn't matter to me

I don't do it regularly, but I have in the past, especially when my injury flares up. I have an SI joint issues that causes a lot of pain when it flares up and messes with my sciatic nerve and have noticed when I do yoga it basically goes away. I want to start doing yoga more but I don't really have the patience; although…

Me too. I was an athlete all my life, until I was injured and needed surgery. Still fighting injuries and pain, but trying my hardest to get back in the shape I once was :)
