But when standing up for any length of time is a challenge, and you've never really cooked before, the microwave meals are a lot easier. Later on down the road, I think Joshua is going to start to try these things. He's already eating broccoli. That's a big deal!

I am so glad you all responded! I look forward to getting to know all of you! It helps to know many of us are having similar experiences. Sometimes we lose perspective and feel so isolated, as if no one else has the same type of challenges we do. That's just not true, as I think we can see from reading this thread!

I had a friend (recently passed away) who went for years on excruciatingly little sleep because her autistic son also roamed the house at night. Sometimes he'd jump out the window and they 'd have to chase him through the neighborhood in the middle of the night. I feel for you!

Love it when they won't sleep though the night! Ha ha. I have a toddler who wakes, and an older child who wakes with pain issues. Short workouts can be helpful!

Yeah, unless I'm parked right next to a cart corral, I don't bother either when the children are in the car. If I'm shopping alone, though, I'll usually return it.
