  • Hey Ladies! Jamie - that picture is adorable! And I've been meaning to tell you that your older daughter's name Brielle was one of my favorite names! So we had our 2 week check up and our little girl has already gained a pound and a half! She was born at 8 lbs 5 oz, then weighed in at 7 lb 14 oz in the hospital…
  • I feel the same way, Sheri. I had lost a good amount of weight before getting preggo, and even though I have lost way more already than I thought I would, I definitely feel different than before. We just have to keep telling ourselves that it took 9 months to put the extra weight on, it's going to take time to get it off…
  • That picture of Brooklynn is adorable!!!! I can't wait until I get my newborn pics back. We had them taken Saturday and she did awesome! Got fussy right at the end but after an hour and a half of doing everything we wanted her to do, I was ok with that! Well that would be about right that the growth spurt is from 10 days…
  • Bethe - I'm soryr it's been such a rough 2 weeks! And I hope you all get to feeling better soon!! I know that has to be rough on you  Sheri - Annabelle does that same thing...she looks asleep after nursing, and as soon as we pick her up she's like SURPRISE! and wants to be held again. She was doing great all last week…
  • OMG me too - I HATE sleeping in a bra!! AND since I"ve been engorged my boobs are too big for my nursing bras... ouch! LOL I hope I get to that point - I'm afraid to go out in public at this point
  • LOL I hope so! Bethe - I love your new picture!!
  • it does sound a little weird, BUT think of how amazing it could be to help out a hurting baby....
  • What I did yesterday (for engorgement, not cracked nipple..but i think it will help...) is I wet a diaper and put it in the freezer and then afterwards but the diaper around my breast for reduce swelling and pain. OMG it was amazing!! I would have never thought to use a diaper but it was a perfect fit and I could just put…
  • Thanks for the suggestions so far! I got a pump today! YAY!! So, now I need to know when I should pump. Annabelle is feeding every 2 hours or so during the day, and I don't want to interfere with her supply (bc we are not introducing a bottle, I'm just pumping to relieve pressure of these engorged things!!) How often…
  • Hey ladies - quick question...My milk started coming in yesterday and my breasts feel SOOO full. When she nurses it helps a little, but it feels like she isn't eating enough to reduce any of the pressure and they're starting to hurt! I don't have a pump yet, so I can't pump until I get one. Is there anything I can do to…
  • Hey ladies! I can officially join this group! Haven't had any time to post - but I will find some soon  Annabelle Katherine was born 4/14 at 4:22. She weighed 8 lbs 5 oz, and was 21 inches long. She's amazing and I'm enjoying every minute with her!
  • I'm the same way! I've ALWAYS been one to cover up with the comforter even in the summer, but these days I can't even sleep with the sheet on me most of the time and still wake up sweating.
  • Thanks for sharing your story! Glad it went so well for you!! He's so handsome. I hope your other children get better soon and Wade doesn't get sick, too!
  • Hopefully will be able to jump over here soon - one day past due today...
  • I'm staying positive - I know she'll come when she's ready. Now, ask me in a few days and I might not be so positive anymore.... lol  I will so miss being pregnant, but I am looking forward to the next beginning! So amazing.
  • Just quickly checking in - No baby yet!! Still waiting! Today's her day, but still no signs...she's going to be one of those late comers apparently!
  • omg this is all I've heard for the past few weeks... "WHOAH, how many babies are in there??", " That's a BIG baby!", "What are you having, a boy or girl? WOW, that's a big girl!" (Um, excuse me, no girl likes to be called big, lol), "There's no way you're going to make it to your due date!" (<--FYI my due date is tomorrow,…
  • YAY BETHE!!!! Congratulations!!! Can't wait to hear more! Enjoy your new LO! :flowerforyou:
  • Thanks, Sheri for the encouraging words! :flowerforyou:
  • Woo hoo! The idea of the planned and knowing exactly when things are going to happen is very enticing to me, but considering I don't want epidural or other things I'm just going to wait it out. If Annabelle hasn't come by Wednesday (your induction day) then the doctor will schedule an induction for the following week.…
  • I had a bad case of anxiety the other night, and it's totally not like me. I couldn't sleep....I was so freaked out about labor, knew that I wouldn't be able to do it, didn't want to go into labor, etc. I woke up in a terrible mood and couldn't go back to sleep and tossed and turned all night. it got worse and worse. All I…
  • Still waiting - I know due date isn't until Sunday, and could possibly be late, but I"m hoping for an early arrival... have a good night ladies, I will catch up later.
  • Oh that would totally bother me too! You mean you've been seeing me for 9 months and just happened to forget to mention it?? Rachael - So happy for you to be moved in!! Julie - I'm glad you're finding some peace, and will continue to. Please know we're praying for you still! Glad your appointment went well with the weight…
  • SUCH a cute picture Jamie!!! LOVE IT!!
  • I'm glad that you say hiccups are progress because this LO seems to have them ALL THE TIME now!!!
  • Ron - I had headaches during my first trimester going into my second. I k now you can take Tylenol, but I never took anything and just tried to rest. They definitely were aggravating!! I've had a few recently, but I think that's due to sinuses/allergies and not the hormones. Hope they stop for you soon! AnneElise - that…
  • Oh yes! Last night I swore to my husband she was trying to scratch h er way out, lol. Her feet and bottom are way down from where they use to be...sort of middle tummy instead of real high so I know she's come way down. I didn't ask about station while I was there today, but she did say last time that her head was right…
  • Amanda - I was checked at 36 weeks, not at 37, but again at 38 and 39. I haven't spotted at all afterward, but I do have some pain.
  • Everything's fine and nothing has changed - still 3 cm and 50%. Doctor will be out of town tomorrow through Sunday. Of course I'd rather deliver with my doctor, but I know that they need vacations too! Just a waiting game now. Rachael - I wake up hungry in the middle of the night all the time! Bethe - I have gotten a few…
  • I'm still hanging in there! Going back today at 2:15 to be checked again to see if anymore progress has been made (Last week I was 3 cm and 50% effaced). I'd really like for her to make her appearance soon... Still not impatient enough to schedule an induction though! Haven't checked in the past few days - been…
