Finally went ove the 50 mile mark for the month only 25 more to go.

I took the last 2 days off from running, Saturdays log run took it's little more out of me than I thought. Today I hit for a 5 mile run I felt really good so I made a good decision to rest an extra day.

8.5 mile run today who would a thought, just a year ago I could barely do a 5 minutes.

I did a 5K run this morning for a TEMPO run so i have a base line. I have a lot of work to do but still pleased with the run. 11 miles so far this week with my long run of 8 miles on Saturday and a full day of rescue scuba diving training in the pool on Sunday. I will defiantly help my goals this weekend. :glasses:

Well the Memorial Day weekend trip with my family was cut short because of a Tropical Storm hitting Northern Florida. But I was able to get up early before the Family and hit the beach for a 6.0 mile run. It has been years since I did this and it was great watching the sun rise while I ran. Logged 3.1 miles today. Legs are really feeling it this month. I'm not moving any faster but running more often so I hope it passes soon.

Good Morning everyone, I logged another 2.3 miles today. I wasnt able to finish all 4 miles today because my legs were just to sore. But I have to listen to my body i'm not a spring chicken any more so maybe on Wednesday I will get all the miles done.

I bought a 15lb Kettle bell at target for 18 dollars and I found numerous dvd's and work out videos on line so that's what i do. It's just fine no fancy gym or equipment required.

I'm a newbies so i'm shooting for 65 miles this month. Already at 16 miles so I will stick to my guns.

I stick to splenda taste just like sugar with no after taste. I also add a splash of fat free/sugar free Delight coffee cream for a total of 25 calories per cup. Since I cut back on most if my likes I try and enjoy a good cup of coffee and this works for me without giving up taste or consuming allot of calories.
