I think anger gets a bad rap. Even if you were it's ok to be angry with someone who is behaving like that. Seriously! Would it be ok to tease a person about another health problem? If I would have been there I would have been angry witnessing it even if it weren't happening to me. As a witness I would have stepped in and…

Cutting carbs helps and it is definitely hard to do! I do moderately low carb <100 grams a day. I am careful with sugars especially (under 7 in any given 2 hour period and i try to keep them under 30 a day). Get your carbs from sources like veggies. I had a difficult time getting diagnosed initially and needed IVF but I…

If I can only pick 3 I will say, Yogurt Apples Turkey But it's usually more than 3... Yogurt apples Chicken Turkey Cheese (usually muenster) Nut butter of some kind Veggies and fruits vary but these are my staples

Too much sugar, and I get a migraine. I limit my refined carbs but eat my veggies. Tons of them :). I too feel sluggish, gross, crampy and tired when I eat the wrong kind of carbs. It's just easier to avoid them.

I have PCOS too. I do moderately low carb (<100). I run a lot and my GP sent me to a dietician who felt I needed to eat more carbs. So I added a few back. I am trying her way to see how I feel. I am not allowed very low carb high fat because of my migraine medicine. I actually really love this way of eating so it's a…

I agree. I will need a lift after this. I too have considered surgery, but the recovery looks miserable. It also seems like there are some pretty big risks. I'm excited because I have gone from a G to an E cup! Believe it or not they actually look small to me! I do not enjoy them either. They cause me issues. I am thrilled…

Yes, but about my butt! My chest can shrink more, I won't complain... I'm doing exercises to strengthen my glutes.

I'm not sure where you live, but right now my sinuses are causing terrible pressure and headaches for me. I have talked to several others who are feeling similarly. It could be a coincidence.

Ha ha ha! Love it, plus I love cheese :).

Even if your exercise is slow at first, it is a start. Go for walk. Do 20 min on a treadmill. I'm in Tx too and it is finally(!) getting to be a reasonable temp here for walking outside. Even if it's short it's something. And build on that. I know how hard it is to be patient, but it's better for your body to start an…

Good for you! It's great you are owning your own health so young. I know people twice your age who aren't doing anything and their bodies are falling apart.

Nuts, smoothies, nut butters, avocado, basically healthy fats and carbs :) Fat bombs = yummy!

If you are wanting to do low carb, there are low carb boards where you can get answers for your questions. I control my carbs and try to keep my carbs around 100 a day. The carbs I do eat are from oatmeal, whole grains, fruit veggies, etc. I watch sugars especially because I am insulin resistant. My total sugars are…

I know what you mean! I have changed my way of life and my husband has lost weight as if by osmosis! I eat right and a lot less calories and I burn a lot of calories. However, I have lost a lot more than he has and in a lot less than 2 years. (I have medical issues, so, it is still possible to lose weight) What are you…

I get it! not a big one, just one at all! I run, I do squats, I have no butt :( I'll just keep working on it... I wish I could take half my boobs and put them in my butt ;)

I have found the opposite to be true. If I am starting to get a migraine and I start to run I can postpone the migraine for a few hours. That being said, I have had a heck of a time with triggers and try to avoid them at all costs. A couple suggestions; are you wearing a good bra and good shoes?, Are you properly…

I understand what you are saying. It's the temptation. You are trying to make a change for the better and you feel like your fiancé is sabotaging your effort. That is very frustrating. If I were you, I would ask myself what my motivation was for making these changes. Are you trying to make a change to get healthier? Do you…

Great advice! I will reiterate the advice to avoid refined sugar. Try to limit how much of any sugars you have at the same time. When you eat carbs, be sure they are nutritious. PCOS sufferers tend to have a tough time with carbs so make it worth it when you eat them.

I definitely don't think you need to buy anything special unless you want to. You can count your carbs using MFP and the internet has an enormous amount of low carb recipes for you to use. I will reiterate what has been said already, if you are trying to keep the weight off for good, exercise is definitely beneficial.…

This egg recipe is delicious! http://www.fitsugar.com/Jessica-Simpson-Breakfast-35170922 I never cook them as long as it suggests when they go back in the oven because I like my yolk to be really soft.

When I was still allowed to eat them :( I loved them roasted with olive oil, fresh rosemary, salt and pepper. Just simple and tasty :) I liked them baked with butter, salt, pepper, cheese, broccoli... endless possibilities. Potatoes are so versatile.

I have a 9 year old boy. I'm happy if he eats a serving of veggies! He loves meat and fish. I'm very happy he loves salmon. But he won't give up his pasta!

I take it. It helps with hair growth, water retention and insulin resistance. It's a diuretic so make sure you are drinking extra water.
-
Yikes, that's not very healthy.

Oh yum!

I felt like that today. I was just sick of salads. And sick of eggs! I found a site that looks like it has yummy recipes on it. http://www.genaw.com. I made the cheesy tuna casserole, it was yummy :). I like to cook so that helps :) And I really want to get one of those.

Years ago before I was pregnant I was a size 16. I know that doesn't seem so bad, but I exercised a lot and I come from a family with a lot of very thin people who have a tendency to fat shame. I had been to Drs. who told me there was nothing wrong with me and I was in awful pain. Then to the great joy of my husband and I…

Good point. That makes sense :). But, I would argue that you could gain muscle/weight too if you are naturally "scrawny". Even if you are fighting genetics, it isn't impossible with exercise and diet. A scrawny person may never look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but you can increase muscle. A lot of us may never look like…

I don't believe that this was necessarily in your control. So, don't beat yourself up :). And now that you know you are doing something, that's awesome! What I was told was to cut refined sugars from my diet and keep my total sugar low. (No more than 7 in any two hour period). I was also told to cut carbs down. I try to…

Probably, put the patient on a lower carb diet like south beach and tell them to exercise. And then have them come in for a check up to see if it is working. If it doesn't work, maybe a low dose of metformin with the diet and exercise. Remember, this all started because of comments that were made about obesity being within…
