I think I got some valuable truths from the forums. Like when I was told just to just go into my gyms weight room and don't worry about the big burly men in there. I did and it was great. :P I'm still very confused about things like TDEE and BMR and how many calories I can eat and still lose weight but one thing at a time.

Feel free to add me. I've have PCOS for a while now but it's getting to the point where I may need to have surgery for them. I don't know how I'll be during that but I'm going to try my best.

For me it's a diversion trick. When I feel something like a craving coming, or my habit to want to buy a giant bag of dorito's and down the whole thing I do something else. I play a video game. I can understand your problem. My office used to be the hub of snacks. I work at the reception desk and everyone comes here for their candies and cakes and stuff. I had it all moved upstairs to the kitchen. Maybe just see if they can move it.

This is what happened to me. I started retaining water at first and actually went up in a weight a little bit. And now I'm back to a slow and steady pace.

I want to lift weights so badly but my gyms weight room is always full of buff men... I get so intimidated I flee back to the safety of my cardio. I do have some eight lbs I use at home but I know that's not enough. I need more nerve.

I weigh myself everyday. It's like a science experiment to see what affects my body and how. I try not to get caught up on the constant changes because I know that's normal.

It's one of the reasons joined MFP. I binge and wake up not knowin how it happened. Now I try to go for a run whenever I feel like I'm going to binge. I head away from the food. I'm going to join a semi expensive gym in the winter so I'm not trapped inside with my fridge.

It's tough but one step at a times. As I slowly lose weight I'm learning so many new things. Find something about it that makes you happy. For me it's the new recipes i'm discovering and the numbers I'm processing. Feel free to add me to. I'm over a 100lbs overweight and the journey should be made with friends :)

When I get sick I go the opposite way. My hunger goes away, and so does my thirst, so I end up forcing food and water down.

Oh my, that must be exactly how I look while running. I can't go to fast but I enjoy the hell out of it. Pop on a good audio book or podcast and I'm set for a little while. In a way I can understand the restriction, I'm doing it myself while I learn portion control. When I feel like I can fit in the good stuff again I will, but I know that to have a long term good relationship with food you have to keep yourself open to all types.

I mainly just drink water, sparingly I have a cup of skim or soy milk but usually it's just water.

Yes, I have a measured water bottle from some healthcare fair that has oz and ml on it. So if I drink a whole bottle it equals 3 cups of water.

I'm around the same as you OP and I've also been having a tough time finding a sports bra. I've been to every sports store in my area. I may give Ladygrace a try; either way thank you for creating this thread because I've been looking.
