I'm glad I'm not the only one, I don't eat breakfast most days. I have something small like a single brioche swirl on some of the week days I'm at home for the day (about once a week, but it varies) but otherwise don't eat until lunch time. I've done the same for getting on 20 years now and never found it a problem. They…

I've found it quite amusing the argument here over age. I just wanted to add that understanding the way age affects the calorie count you can eat without gaining weight (or needed to loose weight) is something I never knew until a few weeks ago when I first started using calculators to work out how to loose weight. And I…

Please don't quit, you are not alone in this. About 2 years ago I put on a lot of weight over a period of 6 months due to stress. Added to the steady gain in weight that probably started 20 years ago when I left my parents’ home and their control on my diet, I am now very unhappy with my weight. I also find that stress,…

MFP asks how often you intend to exercise (how many times a week for how…

Have you significantly changed your diet to loose weight? Is it possible you have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)? I do and I have several hours of growling stomach after eating if I eat certain food, for certain foods it's more than just growling it can turn into cramps, but other foods (and when I'm not stressed in any…

Looking great! Really inspiring to me, just starting out at a similar weight to your start weight and would love to look that good in 6 months!

this If you set your goal at the rate to NOT loose weight (but still want to loose it) then NOT eating back the calories makes sense. However MFP leads you to set a goal which has a deficit built in. If you already have a deficit built into your goal and you don't eat back the exercise calories you will have an even bigger…

I was going to agree with those who said you weren't eating enough. When your calories are too low your body goes into 'starvation mode', your metabolism slows down and you don't burn the fat. It's good to hear that by eating more you are now starting to loose weight, sounds like your metabolism has gone back up :) You…
