This was my little one in "Cinderella" this spring. This is us, together. And this was just simply too good to pass up. Not that EVERYONE was taking this shot at the zoo. Yeah, we're all pervs. Everyone at the Knoxville Zoo had their camera up in these turtles business. Myself included. Mount Rushmore. Yep, we went there.

*HUGE HUGS* I am SO very proud of you! Way to go! That is awesome! It takes a lot of courage to face our fears, and I know it took a lot for you to decide to take those pictures! And then, how AWESOME was it that you were able to see the loss! Sometimes, it does take longer to be able to really see it for ourselves, but…

For real! It's gonna hit 80 here today in East TN. I had on shorts yesterday with the family carving pumpkins in the front yard. And I have the mosquito bites to prove it. Damn things haven't died yet! UGH!!! IMC that it's 12:30pm(ish), and I've been out of bed for about, maybe 30 minutes. Had I realized my husband was…

OMG! I *seriously* almost spit my drink out when I read that! That's seriously one of the greatest replies I've ever seen, and reminded me of one of THE best troll threads I can honestly say I have ever had the privilege to be a part of! We encouraged the OP to "sniff the peen" to see if her husband was cheating. It was…

No. I'm just sad for anyone who thinks a comb over looks good, but bald spot, balding- I seriously cannot tell a lie. There was a man I was head over heels, madly in love with that was going bald. He had a little bit of hair on top, and I mean LITTLE, and the "horseshoe", but yeah, he probably should've gone ahead and…

Pretty much sums it up. I was thinking along the lines of flagged/banned if I posted some of the things that had been said to me in person or online by men. It takes quite a bit to ruffle my feathers or just really creep me out. I'll usually just ignore it and move right on along, but there have been a few that have gotten…

Absolutely! I had a blast last night! Although, that crinoline under my costume didn't feel the best going down the slide! :D Ok, I confess I haven't been to ballet in two weeks, and I know when I go to class this week, my instructor is going to light me up. I'm kinda dreading going.

Seriously. I know it can be easier said than done, but stop letting those who do so little for you control your emotions. As for me confessing, I've thought a lot about a friend that abruptly severed ties in May. There are a lot of things I'd like to say, two of the biggest, are I'm sorry, and I miss you.

1. Proper Medication 2. Being helpful to others 3. Spending time with those I love (family and friends) 4. Dancing (I take classical ballet) 5. Sleep

That I am watching the ORIGINAL Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and seriously, I cannot get enough of this movie.

We went out for the first time tonight, for the State Park Halloween trick or treat. I'll end up taking my daughter out a few more times next week for some events, then I've got two more parties next weekend to go to. Had a blast, though, and got to wear my Grumpy Care Bear costume!

We will simply never have the answer to this burning question.

Don't be embarrassed. There's nothing to be ashamed of. They're numbers. And you are MORE than a number! With that said, 13lbs is a great loss! You're off to a wonderful start! This isn't easy. If it were easy, we'd all look like Marilyn Monroe, naturally. It does take some work, and some figuring things out. What works…

I've had something like this happen in the past, not on MFP, but a totally different situation. It hurts like hell when you care for someone, they're a part of your life daily for quite awhile, then they're just.... gone. It just leaves an empty space. *hugs*

Damn, it's not a wonder you were sweating profusely. Hydrochlorothiazide is basically a water pill, used to reduce fluid, that's compounded with your Lisinopril, which is an ACE-Inhibitor (and common blood pressure medication), with one of the main side-effects being sweating. I've never taken Propranolol, but I know it's…

(*) (*) (*) (*) (*) That did deserve five stars. And no, not for a "mean people" post, or throwing out there, "oh, MFP is just full of meanies!" But it is true, compassion and empathy does go a long way. My skin is as thick as a crocodile's scales. I need to get out the ol' Credo Knife every now and then, and shave a few…

Amen, sister. This sounds like my daddy (minus the jeep). My husband is a work in progress. You hit the nail on the head, though, people don't read minds. They don't know what will hurt your feelings, and what won't, if you don't tell them. You've got to communicate and explain to them, what's hurtful, and why, as best you…

I miss my beloved "Cammy" Going to high school football games on Friday nights. Working at Merle Norman Cosmetics Being pregnant This year, and us all being together. And realizing, we'll never be this young, again.

Is one of the old farts, but just wanted to welcome you! :D

I haven't read this entire thread, but if you don't read anything else, and take it to heart, I hope you'll read this one. I was overweight, my entire life. My mother, wasn't, until she became and adult. Apparently, she feared it was going to just affect me terribly, and constantly "tried' to get me to lose weight. She'd…

*HUGE HUGS* I am SO very sorry for your loss. That is heartbreaking, and truthful. It is a totally different story when that's all you have, and you don't get to take your angel home with you. :'(

Honey, where've you been? It ain't gone anywhere! At least, down South. Let's all gather 'round the casket for a family portrait! *kitten*. You. Not. Oh yes, we do it down here. We take pictures of people in the casket, and then the family gathers around the casket for a picture. Now, do *I* personally partake in this?…
