I used to be "Super Morbidly Obese", and now I'm just "Obese" at 222lbs. It's honestly ironic to me, because this is what I look like, and I'm obese. I'm actually thrilled, but am still working. 20 more pounds wouldn't hurt my feelings.

I realize this is off topic, but I want you to realize you are a very pretty young woman as well! I looked through all of your pictures! Don't sell yourself short! You have such a beautiful smile and an amazing presence about you! I loved the 4th and last pictures especially! I thought they were all great! *hugs*

Absolutely! All I know, is I stole this pic for my kitteh board on Pinterest! I SO did not have this one! (Yeah, I'm a loser, and I don't care!)

You called? *snickers* Seriously, I spent WAY too much time on a debate forum, and that's my problem. I could argue with a fence post, but one thing about it, I'll at least make sense.

What does it say about me as a human being that some of these are my favorite songs? Like this one? Absolutely LOVE it, and it's the creepiest ****ing song. Mad World- Gary Jules All around me are familiar faces Worn out places, worn out faces Bright and early for their daily races Going nowhere, going nowhere Their tears…

This is quite blunt and to the point, but, there's absolute truth, to it. I don't know about your past relationships. If this is your first relationship, or if there have been others before him. Seriously, I am not not passing judgment either way. Before you can have a successful relationship with anyone, you've got to…

You know, maybe the OP was just trying to take some advice from good ol' Roger Sterling?

It may not be that they didn't take them seriously. I definitely agree, that 12-step programs work, but addiction is very powerful, and for many, there are other, underlying issues, such as mental illness. If those are going undiagnosed, or untreated, then many times, the demons win. Even those who are fighting hard, lose…

Oh well, it's ok, no harm done. Flowers back, and all around. :flowerforyou: No prayers or good thoughts sent out were in vain, if they went out with good intentions. Thanks to everyone who does still have a good heart, and too the time to care. I don't blame anyone for being upset. I got a little grumpy myself, for…

I've got a friend who was a guinea pig for the hcg diet, locally. He's lost roughly 200lbs. He's kept it off for, I guess about 3 years now- BUT, he also works for the FNP who does the hcg, he (my friend) advertises the hcg, and works for the gym as well. So, I believe that's a big reason he's kept the weight off. I have…

I don't diet. I've tried just about every diet known to man. It's a failure (at least) for me, because I'm not going to do it forever. I need something real. Something *I* can live with. I like food. It's not my passion. It's not the end all be all for me, but I enjoy what I eat and drink, and I don't want to be eating…

Thank you so much for sharing this. It's really opened my eyes, and made me realize that I do need to really evaluate the way that I eat, and that I DO need to make sure that I'm eating enough. For years, my biggest fear has been gaining any weight. Even a pound terrifies me, and not for the reasons most people thing. It's…

Pot, please meet kettle. It's nice that you took only *part* of my quote, and left out the rest. When the entire message is posted, you can see, I agreed. Even if she did come here and lie, those who sent out prayers or thoughts weren't in vain, but maybe because I recognized others, besides myself, that might be of other…

I just checked that out, too. She sure did. Not impossible for her to have had a "boyfriend" too, but we all know this story sounds a little out there. *shakes head* Oh well, I look at it this way, any prayers sent up or good thoughts sent out are never in vain, even if those of us sending them were tricked or lied to.…

I'll be honest, I don't know if there are ongoing topics, or how many past topics there have been, because it's been six years since I I found out I was pregnant, but I was in the same boat. Only, I had more weight on me than 30lbs. I was about 70lbs heavier than I am right now (just shy of 300lbs) when I became pregnant.…

Hi Peaches! I live with PCOS, and was diagnosed formally in 2003 (although my OB/GYN believes I most likely have had/lived with it most of my life.) I posted a thread here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1448249-diagnosed-living-with-pcos-read-me Telling a little about my story, some common symptoms, treatments,…

I've been reading through this entire thread, and so far- this is by far one of the best posts I've read. It's hit the nail on the head. OP, you're only 22. You've got a LONG way to go, girl. I have no idea how long you've been married, But I'm going to guess it's not longer than maybe 4 years? You two are still…

I live in a really prime spot in my town. Now, that's not to say I've got a million dollar home (and I'm seriously not being snarky, either). I'm from a small town in East TN, so where I live, I'm a block away from the elementary school that my daughter attends, we're another block/right across the intersection from…

I have the guide/thread up here that I'd mentioned earlier in the post for those who are interested: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1448249-diagnosed-living-with-pcos-read-me

I'm an honest person too, and yeah, it's quite rude. But I'm going to give the poster credit where credit is due for not just voicing her disdain until she got on a public forum and spared the person in question the shame and embarrassment they were probably already feeling. Manners and tact, they're lost to so many.

First of all, this is a success because you're admitting that you've struggled. You know that things haven't been going the way you'd like, and that you don't know what to do. This is the good news. Let go of the past. There's nothing you can do about it. It's over. Stop beating yourself up for what you did yesterday. Last…

They have VERY similar symptoms. The only way to know for certain is a blood test, to have thyroid levels checked along with other hormonal levels to rule out any problems with thyroid function. In my case, and to this day, my thyroid is perfect. But that is a good point that you brought up! It is definitely something that…

Ok. I'm sorry. I'm going to be the one to say this. Rude. You're telling this young woman who has stated her height and weight, to buy two seats. Yes, by BMI standards, she is obese. So am I. If I sat on a plane next to you, I wouldn't spill over into a seat next to you. I'm 5'8 and 222lbs. To look at me walking down the…

I would like to have edited my above post to add in some information, but since it won't let me, I'll add it here. Here is a direct link and information from the Byetta insert that comes with EVERY Byetta injection. First, here is the link: http://www.azpicentral.com/byetta/pi_byetta.pdf#page=1 Now, here we have what…

Then, if I am incorrect, can you please explain to me why I am still alive? I have the copies of my bloodwork to prove this. I had *literally* the amount of insulin in my system for FIVE adults. Yes, you heard me correctly. I was a walking medical miracle for all intents and purposes. I was dying. I was sent to an…

I flew last Christmas, and I'm going to be honest, I'm not 100% sure what my exact weight was. I *think* roughly around 234lbs (that's where I hovered for a long time). I'm 5'8 (with a high weight of 400lbs). In the larger jets (with three row seats), I fit very comfortably with plenty of room. In what I refer to as the…
