  • Thank you! I may try Insanity by itself first, but I'll definitely do this program at some point. I think I have just planned out my exercise schedule for the next 6 months!
  • I am finishing CLX in a week. I just received Insanity and was planning to do it next. The only problem is that I'm not sure I want to go 2 months without weight lifting. I have been considering a hybrid of CLX & Insanity but haven't really looked into it yet. Where did you find your schedule?
  • I agree with Heather's comment. I was scared of the Push phase but ended up loving it! This phase really allows you to focus on your form, which I needed. Each week I used heavier weights. It was encouraging to lift more than I ever thought possible.
  • Lean 1 today. I am getting close to the end... only 2 weeks left. I looked at Insanity over the weekend. Wow! He never stops moving!!
  • You should ask your doctor. I would be more concerned about the weight you are lifting. I was told by my doctor that the problem with lifting weights while pregnant is that you can seriously hurt your back because of the redistribution of weight.
  • I do my cardio and weight lifting exercises without shoes. I feel like I can balance better with bare feet. The only downside is that the carpet irritates my toes in a few exercises, but that's not a big deal.
  • I personally would do 1 more week of Burn. On the Push Phase you lift much heavier weights, and that would be more difficult with a week off from lifting.
  • I love Fage 0%. It is not like normal yogurt, but I think that's a good thing. It is very creamy and delicious. I either buy the strawberry and blueberry varieties or add a little honey. I tried the "Greek" brand before and couldn't even finish it.
  • I am on the 2nd week on the Lean Phase. I did Lean 2 today, and I was sweating like crazy by the end. Planks are not my thing! I shake like crazy every time.
  • I have considered buying some. My lower weights are neoprene and soft to the touch, but my 12 & 15's have rougher handles which iritate my hands. The man in the Lean circuit uses gloves.
  • Chalean Extreme! The weight lifting really helps you build muscle. I am on the 3rd month and I love it. Chalene is a great motivator. The workouts are 35 - 45 minutes which is easy to work into my schedule.
  • I have up to 15 lbs and wished I had 20's during the Push month. I needed them for the squats, especially Push 3. It is full of lower body and I could have used the larger weights.
  • I am curious what responses you receive. I think the Agave Necter has a lower Glycemic Index which means your blood sugar level doesn't spike as quickly as normal sugar. Someoone please correct me if I am wrong. I just started looking into this recently.
  • Who's in the Lean Phase? What is with all the Runner's Lunges and the Plank (that's just shy of being cruel)? I did Lean 2 today, and I was shaking so bad!! My heart rate jumped really high. Hopefully next week I'll be able to balance better.
  • Yesterday I started the Lean Phase! I went light because I had no idea which weights to use compared to the Push Phase. She said the weights for the other people after we started the exercise. I'll push harder on Lean 2. I know it was 45 minutes, but it flew by for me. As for my results to this point (two months)... I was…
  • Today was my last day of Push!! I am looking forward to starting Lean on Sunday. Caracamm - I love my HRM. It really helps me figure out how many calories I am burning and what percentage of my max heart rate I am currently at. During the workouts I actually push myself harder to raise my heart rate. As for the calories...…
  • The cardio workouts are intense (for me at least), but they are short. If you cannot go at their pace, at least push as hard as you can. As Chalene says, "You'll get stronger!"
  • Thank you! I thought it seemed high at the time. Since then, I have used the HRM for my other exercises this week, and it seems to be in the right range. I didn't care for this workout before, but now it's my favorite because I burn so much during it. How's Insanity? A friend of mine has Insanity and will let me borrow it…

  • Anyone else feel like they are flying through the weights? I just bought 12 & 15's, and I need 20's now. Hopefully, I'll need a little lighter in the Lean month. I am almost finished with Push Week 2 and still loving it. My energy level is very high. Eating isn't going well but I expected that during the holiday season.

  • I am from Texas. We love fried food and mexican food! To loose weight I started eating oatmeal every morning to start the day right (no more breakfast tacos). Then I still indulge in my favorite dishes occassionally, but I just eat a lot less of it. For example when I bring fried chicken home, I'll eat one piece of chicken…
  • I can only speak on Push, since I just started it. The reps go down to 6-8, and you have to up the weights you use to reach failure more quickly. Also, you do not do combination moves, for example, squat plus arm extension. Instead you would do a set of just squats and then go directly into an Extreme set. I've heard the…

  • I just started the Burn Phase on Sunday, and I am feeling it in my shoulders! I didn't realize how sore I was yesterday afternoon until I tried to pick my son up (he's only 20 lbs), and I couldn't lift him above my head. I picked him up and set him right back on the ground! Although my arms got a good workout, my current…
  • Never mind! :)
  • This is a great challenge! I'm late, but I'd like to join. (I didn't realize that all of my workouts lengths ended in 5! Just looks a little strange.) 01 = 35 min 02 = 25 min 03 = 55 min 04 = 35 min 05 = 25 min 06 = 35 min 07 = 45 min 08 = 45 min 300/700 (Current Total / Remaining)
  • This is my last week of Burn! I am ready to start the next phase. The funniest thing about this workout is that ever time I want to take a break she happens to say, "Don't quit on me now!" I guess I am not the only one who finds those particular exercises difficult. Does anyone else have trouble with the exercizes where…
  • This is just my opinion.... I am 125 lbs and only 5'0", and my calorie goal (before exercising) is 1270. I have managed to lose 12 lbs in 18 months and have been gaining a lot of strength from weight training. I think if you push too hard and keep your calories too low you will not be able to maintain it for very long.…
  • Heather, I am in the Burn Phase, week 3, but I have gained 3 lbs. I have not been eating the best, but I still stay under my recommended calories. Since have tripled the amount of exercise I do weekly, my body may be trying to adjust to all the changes. On the positive side, I keep raising the amount of weights I lift!
