I totally agree with this. I signed up on MFP in August...up until that point I was a total couch potato. Once I started MFP I started walking a lot on a treadmill so I was getting a lot of cardio, but had never even attempted strength training until I joined this group! So it has definitely motivated me to try new things…

Good morning Beginners! Monday I did my character challenge and half the required cardio. Yesterday I completed my remaining cardio and strength training. Tomorrow night = punishment! I will continue with my cardio for the rest of the week. Let me know if you need any cardio minutes! Keep up the good work everyone!

Team Carol's is the kickboxing video that Team Daryl had last week. Not too bad on the knees. Had some kicks, but you could do half kicks instead etc. Team Beth's video has you jumping rope, lifting some weights, some lunges, then you are on the floor lifting your legs, etc. I'd probably say the kickboxing video is better…

I've completed my Team Daryl challenge for the week....Ugh..Denise Austin! Lol! I also did 60 minutes of cardio last night! We will be VICTORIOUS next week! I'm really proud of everyone! Let's keep up the good work! Go Beginners!

If I'm not mistaken....as long as you... A) logged your score on Saturday by midnight OR B) contacted your group leader or Cindy regarding your absence You should be good. The only people sent to the Walker Horde are people who just completely "no-show, no contact." That's my understanding anyway.

I agree. I know 2nd isn't 1st, but it isn't last either! I feel like we did great for Beginners. Too bad the "non-participating" members hurt our score so badly! Like you said....maybe now that we have dropped the zombies we can get 1st next week!!!

Only thing I can figure is maybe they can't survive the bite??? Everyone is infected and everyone becomes a zombie once they die regardless of being bitten or not, but I don't think anyone can survive a bite. No one has survived a bite so far (aside from Hershel, but they cut his leg off immediately, which "saved" him).…

My husband and I each have a fitbit zip. We love them. I completely agree that they are a great motivation tool. I know this works because if we so much as walk to the restroom without it on we are angry. We love getting our daily steps in...so we actually stay on our feet a lot more, whereas we used to be couch potatoes!

My weight loss fluctuates so badly that I feel like a weight loss challenge would just depress me! Lol. In this type of challenge...technically no one walks away a loser.
