I never reply to threads unless I have something positive to say but your post has me so incredibly confused that I feel I have to... WHO are you asking permission to STOP from? If you are happy the way you are... by all means STAY THE WAY YOU ARE. If you have no health issues pushing you to get healthier and happier and…

Calories.

First: AWESOME!!! Good for you!!! Keep at it and NEVER give up! Second: YES. When I realized that I was the smallest weight I have ever been (since 6th grade) I cried. A lot!

We co-exist well... does that count?

This is me for sure! If on a Saturday morning I am running around doing all the deep clean stuff I can spend a few hours but I log an hour.

DAMN GIRL!!! You have done sooo well! SOOOO Proud of you!!!
-
WONDERFULLY AWESOME!!!! You are right! I think if I would have known about NSVs the first 100 times I tried to lose the weight I would have been successful long before now! They do keep you going for sure!!!

I chose not to read other responses because I KNOW my own story and it's a great one! :) I started seeing my boyfriend when I was FAR too young. I was 15 he was 23. I always looked much older blah blah blah but fact is fact... I was too young. At 17 we rekindled what was lost the first time around and things were better…

Great laugh! Thanks!

Not every day for me...but today it rings true. I know that it is going to be a hard food day for me, my own choice for sure...but that being said I already planned MORE calorie burn than I would have otherwise. So...yes?

I  you! I agree... no one KNOWS another's life. And to add, it's NOONE'S right to tell a person they have never met what they think they ARE or SHOULD BE to other people....

WOW Mommakit! That was awsome! I appreciate you for taking the time to post this! :drinker:

Weight watchers point system is how I did it PRIOR to having my son... honestly I think the program works and works well, I just didn't want to do it and counting calories HERE has helped me a lot.

Good for you for deciding to make the change to a healthier lifestyle! Go for it and don't give up!!! :flowerforyou:
-
Bump! I want to know too! It's so much easier to do this when you can make a meal that the WHOLE family enjoys and isn't too hard on your daily goals!

Pink is my FAVORITE... I'm awesome, so...yup! Pink is awesome too! hahaha ;)

I completely understand, after a year and a half of logging in, WHY people have so many stipulations but I still friend everyone that asks me to... and then if they are a complete weirdo, we just don't mesh, or whatever reason I choose, I delete if necessary :)

While I DO agree with the 'how much is your health worth' comments... I also know that while MY health means the world to ME I can't go to a gym. A.) there is not one within 30miles of my home B.) even if there was one, budget would NOT account for even a small amount of a membership without chopping some other things and…

You are NOT alone! :flowerforyou:

I don't know that this is particularly helpful in YOUR case... but I don't do ANYthing about it. I have always been a night eater. It's a habbit that I tried to break in the past by chewing gum, watching tv in bed (hubby hates crumbs in the sheets!!), a jug of water, etc. NOTHING seemed to break me..... So what do I do? I…

Nope. I didn't need her to tell me I needed to do it...the mirror did it for me and I didn't even get charged a deductable!!!  She was very very impressed when I went for my yearly check up tho!

I wasn't necessarily saying YOU.. YOU wrote "Impossible to eat healthy while in debt".... I'm saying IT IS NOT. Sorry if I offended YOU carry on with YOUR day... :flowerforyou:
-
I'm in debt (not as much as I used to be, but...). I find this very very possible. If you want to lose weight and be healthier you WILL find a way. If you want to remain the way you are, you'll find an EXCUSE. edited to say: That may have sounded harsh but I've had too many experiences with people saying "I would love to…

If you don't want to have sex... Don't. Period. Don't do it for a guy or for anyone else but yourself. That being said, maybe don't date the exes of meth heads either... they aren't used to good ol wholesome girls and might just be wanting to get a piece now that mommas in rehab  Just sayin'.

Starting weight on July 30th 2011 was 200pounds.... as of last Friday I am 165.5. So a year and a quarter for 34.5 pounds. It's coming off SLLOOWW but this is NOT a race for me, I eat within my calories MOST days, exercise almost every day and take it all as it comes.
-
If the scale that weighs more is the one that you are going to use from now on... then I would say yes, reset and go from there forward :) Those couple pounds won't be an issue in the long run :)
-
The first time I weighed in (a year and a half ago) I weighed on my mother's scale. I still do... I weigh Friday mornings, underwear only, before breakfast. I think no matter WHEN you do it, consistancy is the key for sure. You are going to weigh differently at different times during the day and depending on what you wear.
-
I couldn't use it at work... the desk and computer are too high up. BUT you have me thinking about using it just to sit on at home for sure! Especially during 'tv time'... thanks for the idea!

Can't really answer... My husband is AWESOME and if I took ONE random conversation and said "What do you think of this?" I might get 9,897 people telling me to leave the BEST thing that ever happened to me. Not everyone is sunshining glittery bunnies all the time. :ohwell:
