Get your bloodwork done again. My mom had a kidney/pancreas transplant 7 years ago. Unfortunately, it's "normal" to have a bad test (high levels). She gets a phonecall from the doc to have the bloodwork done again - and she's fine.

Crystal Light! I used to get infections, too (not enough water). Someone suggested taking cranberry pills... It seemed to help. Good luck!

I struggle with the same things. Somehow, the laundry, cleaning, etc. "win" over taking time for myself.... I just joined a Zumba class through the local community college. The fact that I had to pay for it (more expensive than the gym) and that it's a scheduled class time has helped me so far. It's only Week 2 of classes…

Ever try spaghetti squash in place of pasta? Boil the entire squash for about a half-hour. Let it cool. Cut it in half length-wise and "scoop" the inside out with a fork. (Get rid of the seeds.) It will look "string-y" like spaghetti noodles. Pour on some pasta sauce - Done! My 8-year-old even likes it!

Currently - I AM a meateater. BUT, I could go veggie one day - because of how the animals are treated. Anyone ever read 'Skinny *****'? The book is definitely pro-veggie. One specific chapter tells all about what happens in the slaughterhouse. I was in tears; the animal treatment is awful.

Morning! My hubby used to drink chocolate "Muscle Milk" (found at GNC) - no side effects that he complained of (gas, stomach pains, etc) - and it tasted good! No funny "vitamin" taste!

I fluctuate daily. Personally, I'd rather see a pound or two DOWN (after a week) instead of .5 up... .5 down..... on a daily basis. It's all in what works for you!
