Mini cucumbers.

I love it all, but this one is my all time favorite: I've been eating my nightly ice cream in cones lately. I buy the little Joy cake cups. They're only 30 calories, and ice cream in a cone just hits different.

garlic shrimp pasta with bacon and tomatoes

I've baked something every day for the last 3 weeks. So far, the pineapple upside down cake and apple raisin bread seem to be the house favorites.

Linda Ronstadt.

Rice Krispies, Cheerios and Crispix are my faves. I don't really care for a lot of the sweetened cereals, but if there are Froot Loops in the house, all bets are off.

Froot Loops has been my quarantine rediscovery. Seriously. I mostly prefer unsweetened cereals like Cheerios or Rice Krispies, but friggin Froot Loops, man. Bomb.

Corned beef with mashed potatoes and sautéed cabbage. ETA: We have corned beef at least once a month, usually twice.

Same. I have been baking something every day since I was furloughed; some successful, some not. I've tried biscuits on 4 different occasions and they were terrible every time. Today I made a Depression Cake, or Covid Cake as my son is calling it. We'll have it for dessert with a berry sauce that I also made.

"Love you to the moon and back". I'm not sure why it bugs me so much.

Just in a little butter with salt, pepper and a splash of apple cider vinegar. I like it to have a little brown on it, so it probably takes me 20 minutes or so. I had a big pile of it with my over easy eggs this morning for breakfast.

original bomb pop.

The only thing I like at Panera are those breakfast souffles. Although, I have made my own copycat version at home and it's better, if I do say so myself. ;)

Buttered toast. Seriously, I forgot how good!

Breyers is the worst. A couple of years ago my son and I did our own 'Cookie Dough Ice Cream Taste Test', and out of the 15 or so we sampled, Breyers was in the subbasement. So bad. ETA: I actually found my 'review' that was sent nowhere, except my husband. Heh. Seriously, folks. Do NOT buy this ice cream. "Breyers…

Lots of black pepper and those crunchy chow mein noodles.

Pan fried ribeyes with baked sweet potatoes and green beans

Central NY here, so I'll take credit for chicken riggies, spiedies, salt potatoes and our famous NYS Fair wine slushy. :)

Baked pork chops and rice with sautéed corn.

string cheese

PB and bacon; also delicious.

OOoh, I love PB and baloney! I must try it with the banana!

Yes! Sub out the canned mushrooms for some canned peas and add some bread crumbs to the top and that was one of my Dad's favorites. Mine, too. Strangely, my family also hates it. I make it when I'm mad. :D

Well, hey! Welcome back. Was Iceland amazing?
-
No, but I want to. This flavor combo is right in my wheelhouse.

I like it! My SIL turned me onto adding dates (and spring mix) to frozen pizza before baking. So good.

Revising: My husband works for the state, but is considered "non-essential" so he's home for the next two weeks, minimum. My son's school is closed until at least April 13, so he's immersed in Google Classroom and hating it. I'm still working, because hospital. My hubs has stocked us for what looks like the next two…

All the cheese. And potatoes.
