I'm 5'6 and was 228 when I started running. I definitely think it's more than doable at your current weight. The couch to 5k program to me is the best training program a beginner can use. Good luck to you on this journey and on your race!

I would say about 10 hours per week. I anywhere from 7-8 bootcamps per week, 1 day of hip hop cardio, 1 day of 4+ miles run, and walk 4 days a week.

I think you should. Trust me in the end you will be happy you did. It will show proof of the hard work and committment you made to make yourself healthier.
