I have a juicer and I just started a juicing reboot. I'm not sure if that's the kind of "cleanse" we are talking about here. The juices I have been making meet my calorie needs, and contain nutrients that are far superior to the foods I have eaten in the past. Sure, you could just eat the veggies and fruits, but you would…

Lol! You're a very nice person to respond so graciously to these words of encouragement! I also just started a juice reboot. I actually enjoy the mean green, and just about anything with carrots! Im not sure how you could end up sick from ingesting so many incredibly healthy foods (unless you don't ingest enough, maybe)…

My husband and I just started a juicing reboot today! Our juicer finally got here earlier this week, and we started experimenting with different recipes. So far I love everything about it! I'm so glad my husband is on board with this because it helps give us both an added push to stick with it. Not sure how long we will…

I'm in....and done! Thanks for the challenge!

I think we should have a weekly thread, that way we can stay organized and not get lost in one giant thread!
-
Maybe we could have a new "topic" for each week of the month (1st-8th, 9-15th, etc), and we each post how many minutes we have done so far? or we could report daily, if that would be more helpful for motivational purposes?

I'll take that challenge!

1) continue logging and staying on track with my calories and macros 2) Start and finish Ripped in 30 3) incorporate juicing into my diet 4) lose 5-6 pounds 5) finish my MoH duties for my big sister's wedding on the 29th! 6) pack for Disney (we leave on Oct 3rd) Phew, its gonna be a busy month!

I just allow myself a few indulgences, chew gum, and drink lots of water. Sometimes I'll keep an organic dark chocolate around the house, like Green and Black. It's very rich, so I can only eat a tiny bit at a time, but it helps with my cravings. Besides, dark chocolate actually has some health benefits! Good luck!

I'm just finishing the 30DS, and plan to start Ripped in 30 on September 1st. I got great results with the shred, so nothing's going to stop me from finishing Ripped!

I'm in! I am doing a challenge like this for August, and it really helped keep me motivated so I could reach my goal.

Yeah, that kinda bothers me. It shouldn't, but it does. If I go even one calorie above my goal, then I don't get the little extra phrase at the end of my post, my friends don't comment aout what a great job I did that day, and I feel like I've failed. Of course, then go hop on the elliptical for 5 minutes and I'm back in…

I'm in!

I started with 2 pound weights, but quickly moved up to 5 pound weights when I realized I needed more resistance.

Hi there! I am just about to finish the shred. I have 4 days of level three left, and although it still kicks my butt, I am definitely stronger! I started out at about 143, and I am currently 137 and have lost 6.5 inches. Good luck! It's definitely worth the hard work, but be sure to stick to your calorie goals in order to…

I ended up buying the Breville from the documentary. It was pricey, but definitely not the most expensive one out there, and it got great reviews. My husband and I will be juicing together, and we are waiting very impatiently for it to get here! I think we will start out trying some recipes, then do a juice fast. Thanks…

Done! Did the first 75 without weight, 60 while holding two 15 lb dumbbells, and 15 with a 45 lb bar. Phew! Bring on the next challenge!

Wow, so many of us seem to have the same story! I'm 5'4", was as high as 150 back in April but maintained at about 146 until July. I am now 137, and want to be between 125-130. I also lost the weight abut a year ago and was down to 130, but then gained it back over the past winter/spring. My excuse is that we moved, and I…

Wow wow wow! Amazing job! You look younger, healthier, and happier! It's amazing how much we can improve our lives just by taking control of our minds and bodies. Congratulations!

I've heard that you should eat within an hour of waking up in order to boost your metabolism and avoid a blood sugar crash, but I'm with you....I'm never hungry when I first wake up. It takes me a while to be ready to eat, although I do try to eat within 2 hours of waking. If I tried to eat as soon as I woke up, I'd feel…

Great info! Thanks for posting.

I'm in....and done! 50 each small (back and front) and large (back and front). Thanks for the challenge!

Done! 3 sets of 100! This was my first mini challenge, and I hope to see more!

Oh, I wish I could help you! I know the right answer is "you don't need the scale, just use your measurements and the fit of your clothes to tell you how much you've lost". But I'm a scale-a-holic and have to weigh in every day. I even just bought a new scale because I didn't trust my old one. So do what you need to do. If…
