If you're going to be so pedantic, you might as well use the clinical term. ...And stay off the forums because we dislike self righteous people.

So glad you shared this and I happened to stumble accross it.

Backstory I'm 6' and reached approx. 205 after three injuries in under two years. Bad eating habits coupled with lots of nights out drinking and eating fast food at 2 or 3am plus being injured makes for a really ugly body. I had lost some weight before stumbling across MFP so my starting weight on this site was 190 in May…

"Wings" tend to be a trouble spot for women meaning that's one of the last places to lose fat. Lift heavy, eat a caloric deficit and continue losing fat. You won't start to see definition until you lose more body fat and the more you lift, the more you burn since muscle burns more calories than fat. Check out New Rules of…

Baked like you would russet potatoes Slice into fries (sting cut, thin slices, wedges, etc.) and bake with a little cooking spray, sea salt and your choice of seasonings if you so choose. I've found they are best done at about 250 degrees for 30 minutes Mashed - done just like russet potatoes and then again, your choice of…

25 mins of starved cardio this morning which was elliptical intervals and strength training arms on my lunch. Like a bawse

This is a common issue for people. You need to find things to occupy you or you'll just continue binging. If I'm at home and find myself craving food for the simple fact that it's readily available, I'll chew a piece of gum. If you must have a snack, good options are: Fruit Veggies (I'll mix up spicy ranch dip with 0%…

Check out Anne Taylor, New York & Company, Gap, Old Navy, or stores more geared toward women rather than teens as they usually carry longer shorts.

Is there a Buckle near you? If yes, GET IN THERE! They have all kinds of brands with varying seams and cuts to fit just right. My inseam is a 36"-37", depending on the jean, and I have an athletic butt so the Big Stars are my favorite. Long, cute, comfortable and make my butt look great. If you have a flatter butt, try the…

I flake and fail more at A.M. workouts because quite frankly, I like my sleep. I work my *kitten* off all day every day so when it comes time to rest, I rest. In regards to P.M.ers, I seldomly see "fashion shows" or "posers" at my gym. I go and put in, at minimum, 40 minutes of strength training sessions and take myself to…

34C. Okay... so I'm just holding onto some of my Cs but the most recent bra purchases have been Bs.

You see yourself every day so the changes aren't noticeable to you. Take measurements once a month and you will see changes. Also, you'll start to notice changes by how your clothes fit.

With the exception of Twinkies because I just don't like them. *Raises hand high*:drinker:

:noway: There's no way there are 245g of fiber in that juice. Just eat the actual fruit and save yourself the time and energy juicing it or.... thinking. Fiber is good for you. Helps you poop

How about before typing anything of this nature you do a little research. Look at her profile and the rest of her pictures. She's GORGEOUS and that face was not altered. SMDH....

Every person's TDEE and BMR are different, but I do think you've been eating too few calories. At 6' tall, my average TDEE is 2650 but on week days it's usually right around 3000 due to two-a-days at the gym. Saint's, at 6'2 and 200lbs with bf% around 11%, is 3300 or so (I think) with one long workout session per day. I'd…

You are such a rockstar, dear! That's amazing progress.

This. Your body is still in motion and still burning calories, but unless you are training for something or wanting to set a personal goal, 20-30 minutes is adequate. Lifting before cardio is the best option if you're going to combine because lifting requires the use of your glycogen stores. If you do it the other way…

I prefer gloves and mine are Nike and I love them. Harbinger is also another great brand. Really, just get into a sporting goods store and try them on. Fit is most important. *Note* I lift heavy and use gloves but still have calluses. It's a price you pay when you lift but totally worth it.

Bump... Thanks for sharing!

I disagree with your husband. Cooking is not a "feminine" thing for a man to do and if your son enjoys it, let him run with it like you have been. My wonderful man loves to cook and he is FAR from feminine. I think it's incredibly sexy and sweet that he enjoys doing it so much. And, truth be told, he's a better chef and…
