I may be wrong, but it sounds to me like your sister is maybe a bit jealous of the success that this site has given you, and perhaps if she did not do as well, that is why she said the things she said and created her own site to track her progress. I have experienced similar things with friends who claim sites like this…

Aw, this is the type of story that I like to read. Dedication to your goals is the first step, and you have succeeded because of that and lots of hard work. Congratulations on the weight loss and quitting smoking! Sounds to me like you are definitely on the right path!!

Wow!! You look so good!!! Amazing job! :) And don't be embarrassed by your first picture! Be proud of your progress!!

I have tattoos as well. I would maybe suggest a ball (whichever sport your son enjoys most) or something about that sport and then get his name tattooed on or above it. You could do that and then something similar for your daughter, with something she enjoys. I like the idea of getting tattoos to do with your kids because…

If it fits into your goals then there is no reason not to eat it. I don't restrict myself if I want something, but I only allow myself it if I have "earned" it. If it makes you go over in calories for the day, skip it and eat one smaller meal tomorrow to fit it in. Or eat the ice cream and do some exercise to burn it off…

Mmm!! I do a similar thing but with English muffins!

If you can tolerate soy products there are many low calorie choices. I lost most of my weight so far by eliminating starches for 30 days and cutting back drastically on my sugar content. If you choose low sodium foods you will also benefit. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water each day. I like to look at the recipes…

Oh my! That is amazing!!! I love hearing stories like this, the feeling you get when that happens is so amazing and now I can experience it through you! Lol, Hopefully I will have similar results soon. Congrats on the awesome NSV!!:flowerforyou:

You will not be disappointed!!

Chew gum! I find that when I am not hungry and want to eat, it is usually because I'm bored. The gum occupies me! Also, the water is a great suggestion. Oftentimes we feel hunger when we need water.

Lol I use one plain English muffin cut in half for two mini pizzas (110cals per muffin) and spread Primo traditional pizza sauce on them (you can use any spaghetti or marinara sauce instead). Decorate with cheddar and/or mozzarella cheese and anything else you'd like! Put them in the oven on 325F for about 6-10 minutes and…

I was going to suggest an apple cinnamon omelet. Two eggs, half an apple, about 198-202 calories if you use a granny smith. I use the whole egg too. Aside from that, low fat bacon, sausages or a sandwich toasted? I eat a lot of veggie/soy products and no meat but you could always try those as well for lower calorie…

Wow, you look great! Awesome job!

Wow! Great job!! You look like a different person.. and much happier! Happy early birthday!! :)

You can do it! :D

Wow!! Great job! Very nice pics!!

I agree with trying to use the washroom first, and if it doesn't work, try to eat something. Just make sure you aren't drinking TOO MUCH water. You shouldn't be having stomach cramps from drinking too much!

You have made a great accomplishment and you shouldn't let anyone bring you down! I cannot believe your boss said that to you. Surely there is someone you can speak to about that? Hopefully you start feeling better because you have come a long way and there is no looking back! Congrats on your loss so far, and don't let…

Maybe you could take them for a walk to the park, and throw around a frisbee or a ball. Other than that, playing tag, hide and seek or just running around after kids can be a workout in itself! Swimming is great exercise too so you could probably burn a lot of calories babysitting!
-
LOL that is sooo awesome!!! Congrats!!
-
Oooh!!! I want one!!! :)

Are you eating the same types of meals you normally do? Maybe you could try calorie shifting/upping & lowering your calorie intake instead of always staying at 1300? Maybe you could eliminate or cut back on sugars are starches (this helped me A LOT!). Aside from that, incorporating more exercise and switching up your meal…

Salad, apples with peanut butter (melted is good too), baked apple with cinnamon, soup (not much effort), a sandwich, omelet? If I am not feeling like cooking I usually just choose the easiest foods to make, lol.
-
Lol my cat is on there too! :P
-
Lol!! That is so awesome!! Congrats on "losing" your cat! Lol

Generally you need a NET calorie intake of at least 1200 calories. So if you eat 1500 and exercise to burn off 300, you don't have to eat those back. However, if you eat 1500 and burn off 500, you will need to make up 200 more calories in meals to bring up your NET to 1200. Hopefully that makes sense!

Wow, that has got to be the best feeling EVER! Congratulations on your NSV, you have worked hard for it and you deserve it! (I think I would have cried if this were me! lol)
-
Wow! Great willpower! Good for you!!
-
Wow, you are doing great so far!! You can definitely tell in your last picture!!

I like peanut butter and apples! If you take a Granny Smith apple you have about 85 cals, plus about 80 per tbsp of peanut butter. Yogurt and cheese are good, higher calorie foods, and you could definitely 'spend' a lot of them on pasta!
