It's not the strawberry or chocolate part that counts. It's the milk. Milk is great for recovering from a workout because it has a balanced carb./ protein mix.

It definitely matters to me. I can burn more off during the day than I can the night. Going to bed with a full stomach makes a difference on scale the next morning for me.

I am laughing so hard about all the cat comments. I have a dog that tries to eat cats. I can't imagine anyone coming to use that box! Or if they do, they certainly won't more than once.:laugh:

I think the two biggest factors are your height and where you carry your weight. I am short and standing next to my tall freinds, I still look heaver even though I'm twenty pounds lighter. When my mom and her brothers did a low carb diet they all had gas. One of the brothers was explaining how all the veggies had so much fiber and their bodies weren't used to it. (Apparantly adding too much fiber into your system too quickly tends to make you gassy.)

This might not work for everyone but I find if I eat higher amounts of carbs in the morning and lunch, and do lower carbs closer to dinner and/or night, the weight seems to come off easier without trying so hard. Veggies and meat for me please! Fresh okra and eggplant are my favorite. I also use it a lot for chicken. Its so fast at great for my lunch break.

I went organic! I buy everything fresh (no preservatives). If I really want food then I make it myself. No pre-packaged anything. If it can sit on a shelf for a year and be "ok" imagine what it does to your body. ewww.

Sounds odd, but I keep posty notes in my car with motivational tips and health tips on the dash board. So while I am running errands or on my lunch break, I am motivated to not make bad choices.

Not sure if it helps you, but I'm such a visual person that seeing the dress I want to be in hanging on the wall in front of the treadmill helped me pushed harder. My wedding is May 8, 2010! Almost here!
