Good Morning Managed to get my mum booked in for her first Covid vaccination on Thursday (over here in UK you get a letter from NHS inviting you to book an appointment) Brilliant news -just heard on the radio that they will now start vaccinating the Over 70s. A new vaccination centre has opened up to help with the demand,…

Happy Anniversary Barbie Sue Glad to hear your family are doing okay and recovering from Covid. Had a Zoom catch up with my friends last night, we started last Friday but I had a few problems working out how to put the audio on. They could see me but not hear me, then they could hear me but not see me :D Managed to get it…

Feeling much better thanks SuziQ still in pain, but definitely on the mend, just having to take things slowly is all. Was supposed to take mum to have a blood test this morning, but it is snowing and very slushy underfoot so decided to leave it a few days. Don't want her falling over - and I'm still a little wary of bad…

Heather I think it's more intercostal muscle pain rather than a rotator cuff injury. It hurts when I breathe in and I can't sneeze or cough. Viv UK <3

Rita just wanted to say that colitis is a horrible condition so no need to feel guilty about venting. I hope you get it under some sort of control to make you comfortable. Happy Birthday - I'm sure I saw it was someone's birthday soon, so sorry I didn't make a note, thought I would remember Ha! I should have known better,…

Katla Sorry to hear you fell as well, do take care, it really shakes you up doesn't it and falling down steps hitting your head :o - seems we were both lucky not to have more serious injuries. I think I'm feeling a little better in myself, but it still hurts when I lift my arm a certain way although getting dressed this…

It was a week ago that I fell and can honestly say that it has been one of the most painful weeks of my life. I've hardly been able to move, and using my arm is still painful (but getting better slowly) can't believe how it has impacted on every part of me. I have been watching a lot of TV/Netflix and have really go into…

Good morning, I'm feeling very sore and achey today, I slipped on the ice yesterday morning and hurt my ribs/shoulder. Can't believe how much pain I am in doing everyday things that you take for granted. Standing/sitting ouch! reaching for things ouch! ouch! Moving in general ouch! Didn't get much sleep last night as I…

Michele Just wondered how long you keep your trees up. I must say they are beautifully decorated, the time and effort you have put into them, you are very artistic. I'm sure I would not get them looking so good. I thought I did quite well with my (one) tree this year, it looked pretty with the twinkling lights, but I've…

Good Morning, Happy 1st January! It was very slippery this morning on our dog walk, quite exhausting really, I was glad to get home in one piece. The fireworks last night didn't go on as long as I thought they would thank goodness. I decided to stay up as I didn't think I'd get to sleep with the noise, but by half past…

[quote="drkatiebug;c Which decluttering group did you join? I belong to the Clutterbug group (which I've unfollowed) and a private group of Dana K White's called Kindred Spirits. Cas (Clutterbug), Dana (Slob Comes Clean) and Dawn (Minimal Mom) have teamed up to offer a course beginning tomorrow called Take Your House Back.…

Happy New Years Eve everyone <3 I will try to be more active on here, but I am spending a lot of time on the computer at the moment. I have joined an exercise group which I do for 40 - 45 mins every morning after walking the dog, I've also joined a decluttering group ( but I need to get off my computer to complete the…

Good afternoon ladies Just got back from walking the dog, it was bracing to say the least, cold with a light drizzle. Think I'll have to get my thermals on soon. :) Mind you the forecast is for snow and frost next week! Not looking forward to that. :/ The shops are open again as Heather has mentioned, I went to do a bit of…

Good morning, I'm still lurking in and out. Haven't had time to catch up yet, but I see that you are in the hospital Allie, hope you are okay and you get it sorted. Sending love your way. Tracey I love your Christmas stocking. When I was at work, one year, for a team building exercise, we went to a craft centre and made…

Janetr you look amazing! How long did it take you to lose weight? I've joined a fitness/weight loss challenge for 6 weeks starting tomorrow. Lots of advice on nutrition as well by the sounds of it. I know what I should be eating, but I don't always listen to myself. I'm hoping that the combo of exercising and calorie…

Good Morning ladies, yes I am still alive! :) Sorry not to have checked in with you for a month (or two?) I hope you are all okay. We are heading for another lockdown here in the UK. Luckily I've managed to get me and my mum booked in for an eye test tomorrow before lockdown starts on Thursday. Could really have done to…

Hi everyone Just a quick "Hello" to all my friends, sorry I've been missing, but everything was getting on top of me. Glad to say that I am feeling much better now, I've been busy decluttering, and organising my house ( well trying :) ), as well as helping my mum with the housework she can't do. I've also been visiting my…

Thanks Barbie for starting us on another month. Missed the last few days (weeks?) of August, been busy decorating so haven't had time to catch up. Might be absent for some of September too as I've just found out that a relative is in hospital recovering from a broken hip. Poor thing couldn't contact anyone to let them know…

Faye The DH Top 54 :D hilarious! Re wringers on washers, my mum had a gas boiler type washer (yes gas!) she did have a mangle/wringer but can't remember if it was on another washer or put on the edge of the boiler. Thank goodness we don't have to wash clothes like that anymore :)

Debbie how awful, so glad your husband was not at work, but very worrying all the same. Viv UK <3

Woke up in the night to go to the bathroom and noticed we had a leak in the ceiling. Just waiting for a roofer to come and have a look at the roof to see if any tiles are loose or if it's the guttering. He said he'd be an hour and it's over two hours. Called to see if he'd been delayed and found out he'd been already, but…

Still catching up :( I strained my back yesterday exercising! :o Who knew you had to be fit to exercise :D It's my own fault, I should have started with a lower weight for the lifting (to strengthen my back ironically) thankfully I didn't do too many lifts, but I can hardly move this morning. Need to keep moving - slowly.…

B) Far too hot! Wasn't feeling too good yesterday (Sunday) felt very queezy and had an upset tummy. Feel a bit better this morning, but feel a little dizzy - well not full on dizzy, but sort of lightheaded. I'm about twenty pages behind - spending too much time watching decluttering videos instead of actually doing the…
