Drink more water, exercise more, stay away from fast food, cut back if not totally cut out the chocolate candy and be in the low 160's by Christmas ( I am 169.6 now). I have another one that I want to start next week which is no diet sodas. That one is a little harder since I don't like tea or coffee.

Congrats! I finally got in the 170's, been a long time coming. I am hoping for the 160's or upper 150's by Christmas. Keep up the good work!

I don't cook two dinners either. It is just me and my husband, I cook like I normally do but what my portions - perfect example - last night he cooked burgers, he had 2 and I had one. Before I made this lifestyle change I would have had 2. Not sure what is for dinner tonight.

Welcome and good luck on your journey. I joined at the end of May and as of today I have lost 32 pounds. I have done Weight Watchers in the past, did well but ended up putting it all back on. MFP makes me so much more aware of what I am eating. When I did WW, I was not paying close attention to the calories since my leader…

Hi I am Linda. I am 40 years old, born and raised in Richmond, Va. Sunday the 13th is my wedding anniversary and I will be married for 12 years. I have a step daughter (26), a step son (25), 2 dogs and 3 cats. I joined MFP at the end of May. I decided to make a change in my life when I stepped on the scale at my highest…

Thank you everyone for your posts. I guess I get frustrated especially when it comes from a family member who has told me, don't get rid of your clothes that are now too big because you are going to put all the you lose back on. I am thankful for my group of friends, other family members and my husband who are supporting…

I have one almost every day for breakfast. I eat the Special K ones. They keep me full for about 4 hours. I just finished the chocolate peanut butter one a few minutes ago. I think they are fine.

That happens to me too if I have gone a long time eating fried foods. It also happens to me with fast food. Sorry for your experience.

Yes and it is such a great feeling. I went out to my favorite Italian restaurant, ordered a small pepperoni calzone and was full. A few months ago I would have eaten the large one and not batted an eye.

Good luck!

I am also in a weight loss challenge where I work, I work for a food distributor which at times can be a challenge. Good luck in your journey. Feel free to add me.

My goal is 20 but I will be happy with whatever I lose. If I lose more, great but if I don't, I am not going to beat myself up or get discouraged.

Congrats! You look great.

I like them. I get both the chocolate and the peanut butter and it is a great chocolate fix for me as well.

I am in VA. I was at work at the time. Where I work is about 20 miles from the center. It was a little scary. We had a small one here before which I did not feel. I have never been through one like today. Thankfully from what I have heard no one was hurt.

I hope you realize how amazing you are and how much of an inspiration you are for us. You are so positive and help to keep me motivated on those days that I am feeling blah! I am thankful to have found this site and have you in MFP family. You are doing an awesome job! I love the support that I get here - I have support…

Grill it - I would add garlic salt and pepper and you could add worcestershire sauce if you like.

That's great! Reminds me of a dream I had that I was at work and my pants fell down in front of my co-workers.
-
Good luck - you can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!! I joined in May after having done weight watchers, lost 52 pounds, gained all of that back plus a few extra pounds. I am enjoying this much more than weight watchers as I am finding myself more accountable. I pay more attention to the calories than with ww.

I have started drinking Miller 64 beer. I don't drink often but when I do, I chose this since it is low in calories. Have not tried the Bud 55 yet.

I go barefoot but sometimes wear socks. I try not to wear shoes in the house.
