  • There's no hard and fast rule that says your food journal has to read from midnight to midnight. Maybe your day needs to reset at 4pm. Count your calories from 4pm today, through 4pm tomorrow. Now you know if you got to excersize or not and you can eat accordingly. It all comes out in the wash. You're body doesn't care if…
  • My husbands going to burning man this year too. You might think twice about that court dress. It's SSSEEEEEEERiously hot during the day and SEEEEERRRRiously cold at night.
  • Make it easy on yourself Flip back through your food diary to a time when you were losing well, and just repeat the meals you were eating then! LIke a preplanned menu! LOL

  • When I was having self control issues with pop, I made it allowable, but inaccesible. In other words, I didn't keep it in the house. If could work it into my calories for the day, I would allow myself the treat, but I had to walk up to the store to get it. No driving, and no "wander to the fridge" for it. :)
  • Mine is public! This thread is fun. lol It's a little like peaking at peoples living rooms when you drive past.
  • ooh, I'll jump in! Breakfast: Tillamook Yogurt mixed with 1 cup multi grain cheerios. Lunch: Southwest Chicken Panini (Lunch on the run, kind of. lol) Dinner: Hamburger gravy (With Turkey instead of beef), baked potato, 1/2 cup corn. Snacks: Apple w/2 tbls peanutbutter, string cheese. Total: 1549 (11 cals under goal. I'll…
  • I've learned that I do MUCH better when I plan ahead. PLUS I'm a lot less stressed out when I don't have to figure out what to make for dinner at 6:30 PM. LOL
  • Woah! That's a lot to deal with all at once. Can you buddy up with a friend and do some cooking ahead tha way? I would stalk craigslist for a dorm fridge w/a freezer. They show up all the time SUPER cheap.
  • Don't feel bad. Last time I fell off the wagon, it circled back around and ran me over a few times. LOL
  • There are two directions to fight cellulite from. First, overall body fat reduction...and you're already working on that. Second is to build the muscles underneath for a smoother overall appearance.
  • Awesome! What a great friend! I have a "business card" that I keep in my wallet with a few good choices (and their calorie counts) at each of the restaraunts around our neighborhood. No more "We're out, lets just stop and eat" excuses for me! LOL
  • Marionberry yogurt with 1 cup multigrain cheerios mixed in. Sweet and crunchy! Yum! Or Veggie omlet Or 2 eggs, overeasy, with an english muffin and 2 pieces of bacon (when I'm feeling rebelious! LOL)
  • Can you swap out a few things to foods that are slightly more calorie dense? Or add in some dip and enjoy it while you can! LOL
  • My advice? Stop worrying about it. The goal is an overall trend, not a number. You want the numbers to be working down. A scale that reads differently in NO WAY negates the hard work you've put in or the pounds you've lost.
  • The good news is that losing from your waist first is GREAT. Fat carried around your core is the most dangerous and losing waist inches seriously decreases your risk factors for a number of very scary things. :glasses:
  • I'm gonna disagree with a lot of people here....kind of. lol I think it's fine, when you're starting out, to eat the foods you're used to eating. It gives you time to figure out how it all works without stressing about "having nothing to eat." The trick is that you have to change your food as you learn more. Try a new…
  • Tutu Joli translates (roughly) to Tutu Pretty. I sew ballet costumes for a living. :)
  • Try adding just a little to every meal. If you have 3 meals, and 3 snacks....you only need to add 50 cals to each. OR Add some natural peanutbutter to your apple or banana.
  • OMG, I  you! that was awesome.....hehehehehe
  • Our little local dance school is performing Alice in Wonderland. It's SO much fun! I love the fantasy type shows where I can really cut loose and make some crazy/fun costumes. You can only sew so many princesses and swans before it starts to get boring. hahaha
  • Yeah, don't hold your calories over for the weekend. What might be happening is that your metabolism is slowing down because your calories are too low all week, and then when the weekend hits you're feeding excess calories to a slow metabolism. It doesn't really work out so well.
  • Good job all! Courtney, that sounds like TORTURE. Sonjavon, I just got a new washer and dryer. I swear I need a license to drive them though! Sooooo many buttons. lol Got a load of dishes done, get an "are we still on for tonight?" call from my best friend (oops...yeah, we are now! Glad I did dishes instead of watching a…
  • Are you eating your excersize calories? (or is your goal set for sedentary life style, when it sounds like you're anything but?) You may not be eating enough.
  • Okay, got the sea bird costume started, up to a point where it needs a fitting (for which the body is on vacation. LOL). Seriously pondering a movie next...maybe I can work on some hand stitching while I watch (or something). I have a tutu that needs to be tacked and embellished. That's a good movie project! (And it gets…
  • Good luck Shera. LOL How long should we wait before we send a rescue team in? Off to work on costumes for a bit. :)
  • Hi neighbor! I'm just over in Tigard. :) I love this area. I don't think I could move away from Portland.
  • it might be a good idea. It sounds like your sugars dropped really low, and that combined with a "water addiction" can be red flags.

  • Out of curiousity, have you ever had your blood sugar checked?
