  • He was WAY out of line. You're the consumer, it's not your job to make his company look good. Maybe if you had stuck around he could have had some room to "argue" your claims but he was completely inappropriate to follow you once you left. You should definitely report him, and in my opinion, he shouldn't be allowed back on…
  • Girl you'd have to have superhero powers not to!
  • You know what's weird? I like to watch that show when I need to put food back into perspective. It makes my stomach hurt just watching him get so miserable as he eats so much. It reminds me not to be a gluttonous a-hole. :drinker:
  • Rude. This whole post is rude. I want a cupcake...
  • Same with Bailey's. I live in Orange Park too but I work in Jacksonville and there are locations all over the area. There's one right by where I live, and one right by my office so I go to that one during the week and Orange Park on the weekends! Great gyms.
  • Good grief... I think the point is that those are the rules her company has set and she has to abide by them. There's no reason for people to be terrible to her about it. You can ask why she's doing something a certain way without being evil, like that lady was.
  • Not gonna lie...that sounds nasty. LOL But it looks yummy and I'm JUST curious enough to try it. Thanks!
  • Agreed. True, it's not always a death sentence...but sometimes it is. And it's a terrible thing to watch. Congrats to you for beating it! Seriously, you are blessed. But this isn't an easy topic for some...
  • I was the "athletic popular girl" until I couldn't stand being associated with the mean-because-I-can-be girls anymore. I quickly became UNpopular after I got a part in the school play made friends with the music/punk kids (GASP!).
  • I have a golden retriever. Gus...he's my baby.
  • Thanks so much! I'm just going to use up the last of what I already have today and try those recipes out asap. Thanks!
  • I wish I still was. I lived in Lincoln for quite a few years and hopefully will be moving back in the next couple of years. GO BIG RED! Fun fact: My parents just got a puppy and named him "Husker"
  • I want to go to your gym. To be honest, I'm not sure why people get themselves so worked up over other people's business. I just turn my iPod up, get in my zone, and mind my own business. Keeps everybody happy.
  • No, I was referring to the commercial she was talking about. dur
  • Seems legit, fo sho. As someone who works in marketing, I see those ads and commercials as them doing their job, which means doing what they need to do to get people to want the product. A "doctor" (i.e. random man in a white doctor-ish coat) saying they approve of the product makes people feel secure that it's a good…
  • Man...I thought I was doing pretty good at doing the low carb thing but you guys are making me look like a wimp! Still got some changes to make it looks like. Do you guys not eat much fruit? That's where most of my carbs come from.
  • Hey everyone! I'm in the Jacksonville area. (Work in Jax, live near Orange Park) New to the sunshine state.
  • Girl, I know how you feel. I'm sorry you have to go through this. What helps me is hitting the gym (honest!). I can't tell you how many negative emotions I've run off and beat out of punching bag. It really does make you feel better. Endorphins from exercise are just lovely. Then go get your nails done or go…
  • Not necessarily. When I was 16 I had a grown man (looked to be in his 40s) tell me everything that was wrong with me right to my face. I was working at a fast food restaurant at the time and doing the drive through window when he pulled up, took one look at me, and told me in explicit detail how fat and ugly I was...to a…
  • Totally. Also, people who don't respect other's feelings. Selfishness is an epidemic anymore, it seems. Boo...
  • I'm 5'8" at 166 right now. I'd like to get down to the 140 - 135 area. Honestly though, I'd love to be a size 6 and I don't care how much I weight when I get to that size. Just want to be toned and healthy.
  • I don't blame them for not recognizing you...you look like a different person! Congrats, you are stunning!
  • 1. How long have you been at it? About 7 months 2. Do you follow a certain program? NROLW, etc.? I go with my personal trainer's system which always includes 2 different variations of moves for the back, biceps, triceps, leg lifts, and squats (as a bare minimum routine). On days where I go more hardcore I add ab workouts.…
  • Weird.... But my morbid curiosity got the best of me... 58 - 70 calories per 100 mL. Googled it.
  • At the risk of embarrassing myself... I've never eaten quinoa before but would like to try it. What section of the grocery store can I find it in? I looked all over the store today and couldn't find it anywhere!
  • I was a kid on a leash...which I'm convinced is how I survived to adulthood. I was a wanderer and gave my mom MANY near-heart attacks. And it became even more difficult after my little brother was born when I was a toddler and my dad had a traveling job so my mom was on her own with us a lot. So the leash was for my safety…
  • Yeah that's not what I was saying, no need to get defensive ...I didn't get the "every dog is evil and out to get me so I'm going to stab them all" vibe from you. Guess I should have made that more clear. I was just saying in general, it's sad that people have been in those types of situations where they FEEL that they…
  • Well I got my degree in Instructional Design and Technology with an emphasis in graphic design so I would LOVE to find something in that type of field, but I'm willing to except about anything right now in the mean time. Girl's got bills!
