I got my mug! Thank you @wanderinglight for the support, inspiration and great products! Every time I look at it I laugh. My daughter and I are fighting over it. New day here in every way. It’s 95 degrees but I’m out there in the yard doing things. Ready for a swim soon.

Hello wonderful friends and happy Friday! I am still hanging in with IF as best I can and today is the first day that I am not hungry at all as I wait for my food window to open. I am trying to get to 1 p.m. ... my NSV for the week is two-fold. I bought a really pretty, form-fitting tank top from Torrid that I was a little…

I think Squid’s squad here needs to go have a word with that doctor. That is NOT the way to inspire health and change. You just keep doing you. 💜

This is a great group! Everyone is coming from a different place but so accepting and supportive. I like to swim, too, and this is the weather for it. I’m looking for a place for the winter where I can do aqua spin! Welcome!

Thank you everyone for all your support for me. I laughed at your comments and suggestions during what has been a tough time in ejecting a very narcissistic man from my life. Thankfully before any really permanent damage. I decided to try WW and potentially Intermittent Fasting yesterday after talking to a friend at work…

There is no way you are 67. .. well 60 is the new 40. I love your thought that kicking my ex-man to the curb added 10 years to my life. I’m looking around to see what else I can get rid off ... 💙

@wanderinglight I love my cup! Thank you! I am still laughing. If I hadn’t cut off all contact I’d be tempted to text a picture to the offending as#%^*+ but I will refrain. I’ll post it on my vision board along with the rest of my future plans .... 💙

Such good advice to us all that “yesterday is heavy” and we all need to put it down. ... and thank you for my good riddance cake!! I love it!! After I swim this evening I’ll sprinkle a little vodka on it and say cheers to you all and the end of a good week! 🏊♀️

@speyerj Thank you! 😘 I so appreciate it. 👊

Anyone who mentions eating a whole bag of chocolate chips should have been my best friend in high school! 😘 .. but we won’t do it now. Let’s help each other!!

Micwrites (Michele) Age: 60 5’ 9” SW 262 CW 238 GW 175 I still can’t get used to writing 60. In my heart I am 17 (ok maybe 45) ... I am thankful for this group!! I love reading your stories and sharing. I feel close to you. And accountable. I want to do this. To get in my best shape and be healthy. I’m grateful I have a…

I had my niece and nephew and my kids over for the 4th. I made a ton of food but I realized how my habits have changed in that it was mostly all healthy, and I didn’t have anything sweet to serve for dessert. I had a few drinks but I was really in control and I swam a few laps just to keep my streak going. Plus, I had…

One of the things I have changed in this journey is to throw away my shapeless body-hiding tents of the past and own my self in pretty, fun colorful clothes no matter the size. Clothes that fit. That show my curves. And as I get healthier and those curves reduce I realize that I really am loving myself more for me and am…

Hi! We are the exact same height and weight so I’m going to watch this post for guidance, too! I have also had my calories set at 1600, down from 2000.

Love the skirt! The belt, too! You look fab!!

I’m so happy about this extension. It has taken me 6 weeks to get in a groove. Now I’m swimming and really working out as well as logging faithfully so I am hoping to see some real results. I was bummed about “failing.” Now I can try again!

Wow! You are doing so incredibly well! Inspired!! Rock in!!

You can do it! When I feel like that I drink water and pretend it’s a cheeseburger. Raw veggies. Something from the garden if you have one. Anything with low or free cals.

I LOVE reading all your posts! They keep me going. I have been really fighting weight since I had my first baby at 31 and gained 80 lbs. I’m 5’ 9” so I can hide a lot but at 243 now I’m tired of hiding. (Although it looks like I’m hiding behind my daughter in this pic we took last night celebrating my birthday.Lol ... I…

Well, today is a weird day. I’ve been working from home for three months and I go back 9:30-2:30. I’m stressed. I’m also in graduate school, I’ve just gotten back with an on again-off again boyfriend who I adore but who I am not sure is right for the long haul, we have just adopted two new cats during isolation, one who is…

@KristenLCook2 I decided to put my scale on the dresser, too, and with any luck (or a push) it will fall behind as well! 😂😂 ... Actually mine is under a chair downstairs but you gave me a much needed laugh today, so thank you!

Hi everyone! I would really love to join this group. I’m in two other groups, too, but I feel like this one is full of kindred spirits. I’ve been back on MFP since May after gaining and losing the same 40 lbs for the last nine years. I really want to get 60+ lbs off now for good. I have always been a tennis player and…

What a month this has been. I have been up and down and, as usual, gaining and losing the same few pounds. But finally, I felt like I had had enough and got real and am on a good, steady downward slope, even though some days the loss is only .2 lbs. I have upped my workouts with some really sweat-worthy sessions out in the…

I hear you on the fit to fat thanks to knees. I had surgery in January following one too many tennis injuries and a fall. Thankfully I don’t like gin. Vodka on the other hand. .. Stick with this group. You can do it. And we’ve got your back.

Sounds like you have yourself on track. Great work!

I have upped my water intake so much that I may as well move my isolation home office from the dining room table to the bathroom because I am wearing out a path on the floor, although that won't be great for Zoom calls! (Who saw that video on FB? LOL) ... Seriously, I think I can feel a difference in everything from…

I LOVE your honesty. That's how it's done. Staying accountable is a lot of the battle. Stay strong! We are all in this together.
