Omg, this week started off bad. I think I'm still pouting over the loss of dairy and my plateau, allowed myself tortilla chips. Also hubby is giving me push back on the rice ban, he made my favorite Jamaican rice and peas and showed up to my job with a plate of it, I've been eating some ever since. Now I know I don't have…

I'm gonna do level 3 today and see what this "not bad" business is about. :indifferent: I was sore yesterday so i took turbofire break. You know, I noticed I am much stronger. I walk up the stairs to my apartment easily, and I can see more muscle definition in my thigh.

Didn't realize we moved on.... http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/360474-week-4-jillian-michaels-killer-buns-thighs-closed-group?hl=Killer+buns

Sexycook, can you post a link to the new week when you start a new thread? I always end up being days behind cause I don't realize everyone moved! Today I am bloated but I am Waist 25.5 thighs 21.75 R 22L saddlebag 36.5, butt/hip 36 I have to talk myself into it almost everyday. Today I am seriously considering doing…

There is a new tofu shirataki macaroni style, I bet if you replace the pasta with this 20 cal stuff you can have a huge bowl for the above calories with hardly any carbs!
-
Man, I know how you feel! I try to remember I am smaller, but our stomachs must be nearly the same size! I use a smaller bowl or plate, try to drink water/eat my veggies first, and sometimes skip the carb in the meal altogether. It's easier when he's out of town though!

What have you learned this week? This week I've learned how easy it is to limit calories doing primal + intermittent fasting. I've also learned I'm a carb and dairy addict, I want them for no reason! Did you accomplish your goals? If not why not? My biggest goal was cutting out dairy, which I did successfully except for a…

So, how is everyone's week going? I had 1 serving of rice and a couple doses of popcorn and a few macaroons last night, otherwise my week has been pretty primal. I have been eating a lot of soup since it has been rainy. I have been under cals but no weight loss yet. What have you learned this week? Did you accomplish your…

Tee hee, I'm glad to see a beautiful woman express these thoughts! I am super sensitive to my hubby's moods and try not to let it affect me. I workout for me but sometimes I feel like I eat for him, so when we he is distant I wanna binge! Make sure you fond a workout you enjoy that can be a source of stress relief for you.…

So is this the new NTHG thread? I think it's beyond 2 weeks! Asjerven, sorry to hear about your grandpa, hope it goes well This miscarriage weight is sticking to me like no one's business, and I have been good with calories and exercise! Talk about adding insult to injury :frown: Wondering if I need to do something…

I like this article. However, when it comes to training I agree more with Rusty Moore of fitness black book. He endorses lean gains but acknowledges some women do gain muscle easily. When I lift heavy I gain more muscle then I want. I do a lot of HIIT and cardio so I'm not farking around. I believe in optimizing your…

I feel like I always have to talk myself into this workout, but I did 3 in a row, might do it one more time then take a "break" by doing turbofire tomorrow. It's TOM and I am tired and lazy, lol. I'm definitely getting stronger though and can hang with Anita on those scissor lunges now (though I still can't keep up with…

I like the diet reporting! I fasted till 1, then ate some dried mangos, apple cider, and a few almonds while waiting for dinner, which was 1/2 baked chicken breast with skin, potato, and steamed broccoli. I'm about to take a nap then wake up and exercise, then work from 1am to 7am. I prefer to fast again but will at least…

Argh I kept posting in Week 2, thanks SexyCook for the heads up I was able to do the one legged burpees for the last few days without hurting my knee. Heart rate went to 176 today, which is about what I get doing Insanity. Do you ladies feel that heat on your forehead after you're done? That is a sign you have done true…

SherryTX, your meal plan sounds tasty! For the fam you can also make regular meals like steak, potatoes, and veggies and largely skip the potatoes Spngbobmyhero, sounds like you have a good solid plan. Totally grain free is ambitious but I'm sure you can do it! Asjerven - hello, and welcome to my small cadre! Baby steps…

Nice blog about Paleo meal planning http://www.btbfitness.com/nutrition-and-performance/2010/6/24/meals-for-the-week-paleo-style.html

I guess I should answer my own questions  Why are you trying Primal eating? Have you done it before? As I said before, I am allergic to wheat, and probably have a growing dairy allergy. Sugar seems to make me gain at any calorie intake level. Therefore, primal seems like a good way to develop eating habits that…

Did the workout for the 3rd day in a row tonight, gonna do it again less than 12hrs later in the am.:indifferent: I am proud I am getting better and better at the scissor jumping lunge Anita does. It's fun, I feel like a cartoon character. My heart rate is in the 170s at the end so I pause it and do crunches before the…

Yes go see a doctor, so many times people wait till the last minute to show up and I'm like, "you've been sick for HOW long?" :noway: And go see a doctor instead of posting questions about your symptoms on Internet forums. Drives me crazy when I see those posts! Sorry to hear about your hand, I hope you get more function…

A lot of us are getting good results with Jillian's new DVD, killer buns and thighs (there is a challenge thread on here too). While it's true you can't spot reduce, the program helps you build lean muscle and burn fat to improve the look of the lower body. If you liked the shred definitely check it out
-
I agree, you lost a ton of weight. In fact, I would say take a good 2-3 weeks off. Read more here: http://www.leighpeele.com/diet-break-plan Congratulations!

I would NOT use ankle weights in the first few days of the new level, if you are not doing the exercises perfectly you can really hurt yourself!!! Level 2 is crazaaay!!! Really dreaded doing it today, and if not done perfectly the one leg burpees bother my knees. the dancing crab is sorta fun, most of the rest is all pain,…

What's IIFYM? Also no offense but you appear VERY lean, how much lower would you want to go? You aren't too far from essential fat, are you going to compete?

That's weird, the only kelp noodles I know of are sea tangle brand (at whole foods and organic stores), and they are only 6 cals/serving compared to tofu shirataki at 20 cals, I didn't know shirataki were 0 cals http://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/sea-tangle/kelp-noodles I'd love to see your recipes with them…

Whoops doubt post. I will replace it by saying I have been going back and forth and also combining the two methods, figuring out my calories is still a challenge though

Hey, there are a decent number of us that are on our second thread now here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/348521-intermittent-fasting-support-group?page=1#posts-4760648 Some are doing eat stop eat, some leangains. Come hang out!

You are awesome! I have been doing a lot of kelp noodle recipes, have you tried them? I'm a huge fan of these noodles and will be going through these recipes

I agree with the protein, fiber, and water to stretch the stomach, but there is also that physiologic hunger for calories that is sometimes not fulfilled while in a deficit. This author has some interesting ideas - that hunger is your body's way of telling you that you are in a calorie deficit and at risk of burning up…

??? I thought you were at maintenance. you are one of the people I am jealous of cause you look great, weigh very little, and can eat tons of calories!
